Congrats on the new job! I am a cautionary tale about work life balance, so please take care of yourself!

Yeah that sounds like the tantrum we experienced yesterday but to be honest today's female principal was a BILLION times worse and it was directed right at me, personally! I can't believe the nerve of people to act so heinous in person.

QOTD- I usually catch them and put them outside. I had friends that were Native American and they taught me that the spider is how we learned to weave, so call them grandmother and appreciate their amazing skills. Their webs are works of art.

Too much to do today and not enough time. I got to work and realized my light blue shirt has spots on it, I must have spilled my coffee on it argh!

I didn't get enough sleep, woke at 1:25AM and maybe got another hour of sleep after that. I'm not sure what is causing the sleep disruptions but even with Lunesta I'm still getting only 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep and that is just not enough.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Wednesday everyone.

in a lot of pain atm...I'm tired of it! Ugh! I go tomorrow to talk with the pain management doctor and I'm a little nervous about it. The injection did not help very much in my leg and just a tad bit more in my back/hip. My pain is a 7 right now.

just overwhelmed.

qotd:I hate spiders inside. I lived in our basement for a long time and saw spiders that creeped me out. I can deal with tarantulas but black widows, scorpion spiders and other icky things...nope. Not in my room!

Quick post as this was a busy day. I am out to dinner with friends tonight for the last time before I leave for Florida on Sunday. I am so cold - I can't wait. Oh and I was down .8 at WW weigh-in. Not great but better than the alternative.

QOTD: Spiders don't scare me but annoy the heck out of me when they are in the house or building webs in the outdoor shower. I do think their webs can be quite beautiful sometimes.

TSS: 3 years, 10 months

B: Eggs, salsa, and coffee

L: Sliced chicken and cottage cheese

D: Crab cakes and salad

S: Pumpkin pudding or baked apple

Adults throwing temper tantrums is uncalled for. I worked for a few months for 2 attorneys, father and daughter. The daughter was great. The father's ego was way too big. He told me he is never wrong and I thought he was joking. He wasn't and said he might change his mind but he's never wrong. One day he threw a fit and was kicking his chair. I did something he didn't like and would not listen to anything I said. A few weeks later, same thing except he was kicking the chair and tossing it around. I collected my personal things and left.

QOTD: I don't like spiders but not really afraid of them.

I'm participating in Bariatric Foodie's annual contest where you choose something every week to do. Mine this week is to increase my water. So far, I've had 72 oz. daily. Previously, I did 48 oz. most days.

Finished another quilt today, second one finished the last 2 weeks. Trying to get my unfinished projects done.

Eats:

Protein waffles

Big Train-Click shake

Taco soup; corn bread

Banana

Premier protein

Greek yogurt

Pumpkin Pudding

Spiders? If they are too big to flick, they are too big to live in my house! When i moved to England these BIG spiders with woody legs would sneak in. They crunched when I smashed them with my big old wellington boots!

Im doing daily food journalling (emotions, triggers etc) and realizing im a much more anxious person than I thought I was! Very helpful feedback. There was cake and cheesecake at the office and not only did I dip in, but even packed some to go! In a moment of sanity i threw it out on the way home. Baby steps and small victories. Going into a weekend of conference now with no idea what the menu is...

RNY 5 years out

b. Soy latte, egg, mini wrap, hummus and veggies

sn. Soy latte, yogurt, berries and bran buds

sn. Little bits of cake and cheesecake and cookie (I dump, so only little bit)

l. Chicken and salad

sn. Veg and hummus and 3 rollitos

sn. Blueberries

d. Chinese stir fry, brown rice, 1 digestive biscuit

Sn, 2 rice cake.

Big food day. Ah well I will try again tomorrow.
