vitamin question (Bariatric Advantage)

I take the Bariatric Advantage bypass formula and the dose is 6 CAPSULES A DAY for the iron free multivitamin. Does anyone else take these? Do you take all 6 capsules in one dose? I have been separating them and taking them before meals when I take my calcium citrate with D and then iron separately. It feels like a lot of swallowing for our tiny stomachs.

I am not sure if I can do that yet but down the road once my lab work is better I would definitely love it if I could do that. I had protein calorie malnutrition but it is getting better. I just finished a round of iron infusions earlier this month and I am trying to stay on top of my calcium, (labs were lower end of normal but when I fell and broke my jaw in 2 places the surgeon said the brake was abnormal and it really left me worrying about bone density/strength because I am not really old enough where one would expect my bones to be like that iykwim).
I keep reading that our bodies get better at absorbing nutrition and i really hope that is true. I know I was told certain forms of iron and calcium for supplements...has that been an issue with only taking the Centrum? I value input here...
I take the bariatric ultra multivitamin. I have not carefully investigated Centrum equivalency. I also take 2 chewable bariatric calcium chews. I have no problem getting these in and my lab work is just fine. Yes, it is not as cheap, but I am having good results so I am not fooling with it.
Have you had a DEXA bone density scan? The recommendation is for every 2 years postop. It's the only test that can truly tell us about bone health.

I have not had a DEXA bone density scan or one offered to me. I will make a note to ask about it the next time I am in.
I just take Centrum (or the CVS equivalent) as my multi. I also take carbonyl iron, calcium citrate, D3, K2, B12, and vitamin B complex (because we need more Thiamine (B1) then most multivitmains provide).
I don't know how old you are, but i was diagnosed with osteoporosis when I was 57. I didn't have a DEXA scan before WLS, so I don't know how much of it is due to that or if it's just genetics - osteoporosis runs rampant in my family. Probably some of both, I'd guess. (I take vitamin K2 because of my osteoporosis. I wasn't told to do so by a medical professional, but I've read in numerous places, including here on OH, that it's good for getting calcium into your bones. At any rate, my PCP and endocrinologist (whom I see because of my osteoporosis) both know I take K2 and never told me not to, so...).
Barriatric advantage has a new one a day pill that cost about $20 a month it's big but I get it down easily Ultra solo with iron. I never heard of taking 6 multi from Bariatric advantage 3 is the most I took.

The last bottle I had it was 3 pills but this month it was 6. I wonder if they changed something.
I guess you must be on THIS one. 6 capsules is a lot, but that is definitely what it states to take.
I recently switched to Opurity and take 2 capsules a day. I used to take regular vitamins but my K and A levels tanked so I switched to bariatric vitamins. I am hoping this gets my numbers back up to par.
