Melody - i thought of you when we were at Weta workshop (Peter Jackson's studio) in Wellington. They had chain mail rings for sale and they looked like what you made.

That's so cool! I have some of the left over rings from the company that did a lot of the chainmaille stuff for the movies.
ahhh New Zealand was a dream of mine before The Lord of the Ring movies now I'd super geek out!

Here I am late as usual. I work from 5 to 8 p.m. and not very busy so I surf the web or read with my manager's approval. Have to answer the phone and great customers and do whatever I want. Pretty good deal.
QOTD: Never seen Star Wars and no desire to.
I think WWs is one of the best programs. I joined back in the 70s and was a member off and on until I had RNY. Recently, I've done the program online. I just don't want to pay but I will probably go back to it. So far I'm doing much better with my eating, consuming more protein and less carbs.
Eats:
scrambled eggs with chicken sausage and cheese
Big Train-Click shake
Navy beans & ham; very small piece of cornbread
Banana; tangelo
Power Crunch protein bar
Greek yogurt after work

Nice to be back here and to read your stories and get to know you a bit! I'm Canadian, RNY over 5 years ago, relocated to Britain 1 1/2 years ago. I teach and write and travel a lot. Just turning 50 this year, adult child in university back in Canada. I'm married to a jazz drummer and for Christmas I got myself some noice cancelling headphones in self defence (hehe).
Yesterday didn't stick completely to plan - added a cup a soup and extra coffee - it's cold and damp here. Food goals these days are to only have my one after dinner pre-planned snack, and to try and get more veg in.
5 years from surgery:
B - soy latte, egg, rice cake & hummus & arugula & roasted veg (I don't eat and drink at the same time)
sn - yogurt, berries, bran buds, soy latte
L - chicken - roast veg
sn - veggies & hummus
D- chicken, veg, grain (eating out at friends) - 2 tablespoons of whatever dessert they serve (they call it 'pudding' here, even if it's not pudding!)
sn - rice cake, pb, apple
I'm listening to a bariatric podcast right now that is talking about how many processed foods are engineered to make us want to eat them more, and can be actually addictive - brain science wise - interesting.. My eating disorder coaches advised me not to make any foods 'evil', but the jury is still out for me on this one.
