What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning JB and Menuers,
Hope everyone is keeping warm and ready for a great week. I am excited because you all know I have a trip next week that will be my first real vacation since February 2016. We do not distinguish between sick time and vacation at my job so all vacation was used for health care. I finally have a year of no surgeries planned so I will be excited to get away. I am also trying to save a couple days to go to OH Conference this year. Anyone else planning on heading to Houston in October?
QOTD: Road a school bus to school. Our home was on a monstrosity of a hill. Someday I'll take a photo driving up it. It is so steep that when the salt trucks go out they do the roads to the hospital then to my family's home. There is no sidewalk no guide rail but for some reason our school district felt because we were in the 2 mile limit to walk they would not give us a bus. But being Daddy's little girl I never walked it. Funny he came up today if he were still with us he would have been 85 today.
Accountability; Terrible what is worse I tracked every last calorie and knew what I was doing. Never even exercised once this weekend.

Everybody have a great week!
Brightest Blessings,

I am considering Houston. It's not as far as usual, so maybe... I'll have to see how expensive the tickets are.

QOTD- I've never been sky diving, even though I would like to. I've been told why would you jump out of a perfectly good plane?
Has anyone tried metformin? My NP has prescribed it and I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. She told me that a WLS doctor (can't remember the name) has had success when his patients weight loss seemed to be stalled. I've been going up 2lb down 2lb for about the last 6 months. So I'm going to give it a try. I would like to reach my goal weight.
I've not been exercising, I know that I should but I just don't have the energy. I'm sure I would be more successful if I did. I used to workout 6 days a week, and I think I got burned out on it. I want to get back to walking when it stays light longer. So tired of the dark and gray days...
I have a site meet this afternoon so I get my dog fix, and to see the cutie from the power company. The construction manager brings his dog to work and he's adorable. So it should be a good afternoon.
I saw 1917 this weekend, it was really good but too much popcorn. Did I say I love popcorn! It's one of the things I won't give up. So I need to down more water to get rid of the water retention.
Have a great day everyone!
