Good morning all! Well my menu didn't go as planned yesterday as I ended up going out for lunch and didn't make my chaffles so I'm going to try again today.
QOTD: I can't even begin to narrow it down to just one as my taste in music is all over the place. So many good ones!

L: Maybe chaffles
D: leftover salmon and veggies
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Mornin'!
Feeling really bloated this morning - I had some (OK a lot...) of DH's popcorn at the hockey game yesterday, so too many calories and too much salt. I'll be taking it easy food-wise today, exercising, and pushing the fluids...
we have hair appts this afternoon, then over to MIL's to hang the rest of her pictures. DH and MIL are planning to go to a Chinese restaurant for dinner, but I'll have them drop me off at home en route (I like Chinese food - but I can't afford the calories or sodium today). I also need to finish up some stuff that I told myself had to be done by the end of the weekend....
QOTD: I don't really have a favorite, but I like a lot of late 60s/early 70s singer/songwriter stuff, as well as soul music from the same era.
4 years 7 months out:
B: Greek yogurt with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half
MS: protein latte
L: salad with diced turkey and light dressing
AS: won't be home - but I'll take a protein bar with me just in case
D: whipped cottage cheese with raspberries
ex: weights and either the elliptical or stationary bike
have a great day, all!
Good morning (barely). I am a bit under the weather today from too much wine last night. Yesterday was a rough day emotionally, then I drank more wine than I should have. I've generally not been drinking at all lately so it didn't take much.
I am hoping a beach walk with Justice after lunch will help me feel better - it will definitely cheer him up!
QOTD: I'm not sure I have a favorite but I generally like current country music (which I realize crosses over into pop much of the time these days).
3 years, 10 months post WLS
B: Eggs, salsa, and coffee
L: Sliced turkey, chicken and cottage cheese
D: Vegetarian chili
S: Baked apple

Qotd: so many! Corey Taylor, Howard Jones, Chris Thile, David Grohl so many! About the only music I don't listen to is rap and R&B/soul. Oh and I hate polka type stuff LOL
my leg is not feeling great and I had a rough night last night. Food is bad so far but hoping that's nipped in the butt.
I did finally find some everything bagel seasoning and I'm going to try that egg salad tomorrow. I'm excited! LOL

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Hi everybody!
It's a pretty nice day here in Chicagoland. Probably high 30's or so. It's funny how that feels so cold in the fall but balmy this time of year. I don't have much planned today, probably will go to the gym. If it's not a mob scene, I will soak in the hot tub afterwards.
QOTD: Jerry Garcia
Breakfast: Chaffle
Lunch: hamburger
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Hey all, rejoining this community after several years away. RNY over 5 years ago. LW 138. Up 20 lbs (slow creep over last 2 years) so thought a little more support/focus was in order. I'm also turning 50 and coming into menopause so I know I'm experiencing some metabolic changes. Feeling wobbly, so I've dug out my old eating disorder manual (did a Binge Eating Disorder program before my surgery) and revising all my learning. Moved from Canada to UK 1 1/2 years ago. Travel a lot for work so trying to find ways to keep things simple and doable while on the road.
