Ariel yoga sounds fun. I hope you can find a low carb or keto food that fits what you are looking for.

It's feeling like winter here. I even got out my winter coat and gloves. I've felt edgy all day today. Lot of stress in my house right now. DH has a lot of health issues. He is in a boot now on his right foot so can't drive. Probably has a torn tendon for which he's had 2 surgeries to repair in the last few years. His BP is too high and medication isn't bringing it down so I don't think he should have surgery.
The biggest problem I have is an adult son who is an alcoholic. He has lived with us for several years and as I look back can't believe how stupid I've been trying to help him. It's come down to either go to rehab or wind up in a shelter. Makes me sick to think of him on the street. It's heartbreaking but I can't live with his drinking and all that goes with that.....detoxing....being sick.....losing jobs. He is supposed to go to rehab tomorrow. He has no insurance and no money to pay and there is only one program in the area that is free. It's a Salvation Army program and sounds like a great program; however, I think he plans on going for awhile then coming back home. I want him to complete the program, get a job and live on his own.
At least I've not been eating my stress. This is my third week of following low carb, high protein. I feel better not consuming simple carbs. I'm not having cravings.
Today's eats:
B: Peanut butter chaffles.....yum! Much better than just the egg and cheese ones.
S: Click shake
L: Sloppy Joes on riced cheesy cauliflower
D: Premier protein shake; Greek yogurt with blueberries and walnuts
S: Not sure what. I work till 8:00 p.m.

Great job staying on plan. It sounds like you have a lot to juggle between caring for your partner and your son. Having adult kids can be really hard. I never realized how much harder it would be back when I thought getting through the sleepless nights of infancy...(hah!) It is good you are taking care of yourself and realizing that you will have to decide what boundaries you might need to set. Hang in there.
