Whats on your Monday menu RNYers?
Quick post to get us started today. Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do a short and another long walk later today. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.2 today. Got settled back in the duplex for two weeks and ready to start work at 8 today. Can't think of a QOTD so feel free to add one. Here's the food plan for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and homemade cashew butter L 3/4 c cheesy broccoli soup D 4 oz baked fish. Goal is to drink more today-'at least 100 ounces. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone! Later!
Good morning, everybody!
It's a chilly Monday here in Chicagoland. The kids are off of school today, but I have work. I am going to rely on the lack of traffic to try and go in a little later though. Hopefully that works and I don't just show up at work at 11:00.
I have an appointment today with a plastic surgeon. I am inclined not to do anything, but when my surgeon's office asked if I wanted a referral I said yes. I will have him look at my face and neck. Right now, I feel like I don't want any time away from the gym and don't want the risk of something going wrong.
I didn't make progress towards losing the four pounds from thee holidays last week, so I have to be more focused this week.
I will circle back and answer the QOTD:
Breakfast: sausage
Snack: protein bar
lunch: chicken
snack: cheese
dinner: tenderloin

not one I researched, but I'll look into him. Occasionally I think about getting a face/neck lift. I really liked Dr. Zachary who did my body contouring (he's on the faculty at the Univ of Chicago), but he's very pricey and I can probably find someone else to do my face - if I have it done, that is - for less than what he charges. Plus I don't think it's necessary to have someone who specializes in massive weight loss patients (like Dr. Zachary) to do faces. Anyway, thanks - I'll check into him (her?). I'm curious regardless....

Happy Monday, Everyone!
I had told myself never again but I have just felt more than a little floundering so I bought a month on the digital WW. I chose the purple plan. If I see positive results I will purchase another month. Maybe 1 month will be enough to allow me to feel more in control of my eating and my mindset. I really REALLY need that right now. I dislike paying for it because lord only knows how many other things the money could be spent on so hopefully that will light a fire under my behind to start doing what I KNOW I need to do.
I rejoined WW a month ago for accountability (was a lifetime member from 15 years ago). I am doing blue and have lose 5 pounds of my 15 pound regain.
