What's on your Thursday Menu, RNY crew?
Hi Jen and Menuers,
This got to be quick one of my customers threw a project at me that has to be done ASAP and since I work a straight commision sales position customers are actually my bosses.
I am still struggling with this new thyroid medicine. The scale keeps going up slowly and I am tired and hungry all the time.
QOTD: I can not think of anything I liked yogurt before and I guess I love it now but other than that I got nothing.
Accountability: I made the mistake of microwaving a leftover chicken breast yesterday and it is one of those foods once it is microwaved I can not get it down. So I ate it and it got stuck. That lead to me having to bring it up and I was now not feeling well at all. The result No Gym and bad choices when I got home because I was hungry from emptying my pouch.
TSS: 2 years 1 Month 5 days 134 (lowest 130.8)
CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber
MS L&F Creme brulee yogurt and elevation carb conscious bar.
L: Wonton pizza cups and a string cheese.
D: Lemon Chicken and cauliflower
Water and vitamins: On track. I take a one a day multivitamin I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day.

Good morning menu friends! It's 14 feels like 8 here in the cornfields of Illinois but Miss Lily and I have our 3.7 miles in already and will do more later. I was bundled up so much I looked like the Michelin man but we made it. Supposed to have a long stretch of cold days so I'd better get used to it. QOTD tuna used to hate it but now I like it. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.2 today. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and homemade cashew butter L 4 oz deli ham and cheese D 4 oz chicken from son's instant pot. He bought one and has been experimenting with it. I'll gladly let someone--anyone cook for me. Have a great day full of healthy choices everyone!

Stay warm!! Does Lily have a jacket and shoes? My sister has two short haired dogs and they wait for their coats and boots in the winter, lol

Darn! OH lost my post! OK here it is again!
Hi everybody!
Late posting again. Can't get my act together since the end of holidays. I was at my desk by 7:00 but forgot to post.
QOTD: there is not a food that I don't like, pre or post op. Maybe that was the problem that I ended up obese. PB is the only thing I can't make myself eat, pre or post, even the smell makes me gag. Other than that I'm good with everything.
My daughter makes kale chips and I gotta say they are actually good. Didn't think they would be but she changed my mind.
Sorry for the short post, gotta run.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee + protein
- Cauliflower rice sautéed & eggs (my version of Chinese fried rice)
- Parm cheese
- Shredded pork
Happy jr Friday!

I think PB is a lot like vegemite/marmite - if you grew up with it, you are more likely to like it. Although I will say I had a colleague from Barcelona that took all the individual packets of PB from their hotel breakfast buffet home with him the last time he was here, he liked it so much. I offered to just get him a container but he liked the packets better, lol
