What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
on 1/10/20 1:56 am
Happy Friiiiiday! I am not sure what I am so excited about, though. I definitely have to do a lot of work to do this weekend, plus I legit dreamt about work all night, too. I feel like we should get paid extra when we spend 8 extra hours "working" overnight, haha. At least I got my direct deposit overnight while I was fake working ;)
Photo Friday: Your favorite elves :)
Accountability: Wonderful! I am officially at 13 days straight with no cheats!
Yesterday I realized that we are going to have a lot of crap on the table during these marathon meetings. My boss gave us all these cute emergency kits with tissues (principals cry a lot!), candy, and photocopies for us to put out on the table. And when I sat in on someone else's meeting yesterday, 3 people also brought homemade cookies too! Pray for me.
QOTD: DO you have fancy scale? I have had an Aria for ages, which measures weight, body fat & records it online. The wifi part failed few months ago, and I hate not having a record, so I bit the dust and bought a new one yesterday. For the price I paid, it should have been nicer to me this morning, lol. It's crazy to spend so much on a scale, but really need the wifi feature because I will lie to myself and misremember my weight if I don't have a record. I spent time looking back and saw that I have officially lost 7lbs since 7/10! I wouldn't have remembered without seeing it!
Exercise: Can't fathom how I'll fit that in today... :(

Accountability: I've been avoiding snacks and so far so good since right before NYE.
QOTD: The brand I have is Renpho attached to an app KitNew with WiFi that feeds to my other apps like MFP and Fitbit. I was too cheap to buy the Aria one and found this one on Amazon.

These pics are repeats for those on FB. My hubby made me a mosaic for above my coffee bar (he uses baseball cards and has made a few others that are sports related) and the other are my birthday chaffles.

I love that your coffee bar is always treated with decorator-level style! It shows the respect that coffee deserves :) John did such an awesome job with the art!
Your birthday chaffle makes me smile :)

Good morning and happy Friday!! Yay, we made it!
i wish we all had the self confidence of Pooh!
love the Elf pictures!
i have a long day of meetings and I have to write two job descriptions so it?s a busy day, I did turn down a 230 meeting though (I start at 6 and try to leave at 2 on fridays) so I was proud of myself - didn?t offer an explanation, just proposed an earlier time. A good way to remind myself that ?no? is complete sentence.
Bookclub last night was fun, I was the only one that liked the book and it was a short discussion but then we spent hours taking movies, other books and travel. So fun!
I realized this morning I am out of most of my staples - cottage cheese, ever roast, etc so all I have on plan are egg bites from the freezer after coffee and a light and fit, along with a trip to the grocery store!
have a wonderful Friday and fantastic weekend everyone!
editied because I forgot my photos - 1 is my sister, niece and nephew (and me) getting ready for our indoor skydiving (aren?t those the most fashion forward jumpsuits?) and the other is a funny statue ? when I saw it I wondered why they had a statue of a man peeing. Turns out it?s just a bad side view (he?s really holding aviator gloves).
Jeez, edited again for Qotd (apparently it's going to be one of those days!). - I have a RENPHO scale that connects to my phone and does the weigh****er, bone mass all that kind of stuff. I still mentally track my weight starting with 2 so it's good to have the app to remind me I'm no longer 200+. Funny how long that lasts.

What did you read for book club? I just finished the Dutch House and loved it. Now I'm in the middle of The Silent Patient. Ok so far, but I'm a little impatient with the slow pace.
