My surgeon told me, "Liquid in, liquid out". Loose stools are pretty normal early out from surgery.
Are you having any nausea associated with the diarrhea? Sometimes we develop lactose intolerance after surgery. Try eliminating milk based products and see how you feel. Protein powders that contain whey concentrate are loaded with lactose. Try a whey isolate only powder and mix it with almond or cashew milk.
I was sick for months before I figured out that I was lactose intolerant. Once I changed my protein and eliminated milk I felt much better. I can eat Greek yogurt and cheese, but any other dairy makes me very sick.
