What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! Gotta run go get lab work done this morning on the way to work since I wasn't able to get it done over the weekend. I did not want to get out of bed this morning especially with this headache I've had since yesterday. Yesterday was a busy, stressful Monday. Hoping today will be a bit calmer at work.
QOTD: Anything warm as I get so darn cold now. I did get this big fuzzy robe for Christmas that I'm in love with!
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda
L: turkey and cheese roll up
D: baked salmon and veggies
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19

Hope you feel better!

I need the blanket for work! It stays so cold here. where did you get it? not sure who has the best price..
so you are taking the day off just to work from home? booooo
I didn't sleep last night- instead of getting up and eating- I laid there 1/2 the night just trying to sleep. when I finally did- crazy dreams. early morning gym didn't happen needless to say- so I will have to do that after work if I'm still functioning. also I was going to make the egg drop soup BUY I had no cornstarch so that was a problem.
So the drama from yesterday is DH had not contacted me all day- was getting worried when he finally called from the car- he locked his passcode on this iPhone and guess what- you have to completely login to iTunes- try to backup the data- reset to factory settings then reload the data to fix. My husband knows NOTHING about technology so this is a REAL problem and I can't do it for him. the ATT store is of no help so he will have to call apple and sty on fro probably 2 hours to fix this.
todays food
protein shake
forgot apple protein muffins :(
mini pork turkey meatloaves
zucchini

QOTD: usually jammie pants and a t shirt and sweatshirt on top- or lularoe leggings or gym clothes that are WAAY too worn out for public...

Not sure where he got it. It was not the official Snuggie, but I think there are a million types now. The sleeves are the best thing ever.
So I ended up hang one of those days where I was procrastinating by being productive doing everything except for the work I was supposed to be doing from home, haha. I am just setting in to work, now at 3pm... Sigh. But hopefully I can some of it tackled!

Mornin'!
I could not get to sleep last night to save my life (kind of rare for me), so I didn't wake up until 8:30 this morning. I haven't slept that late in FOREVER! I woke up with a little cat curled up between my arm and my torso - so cute!!
I'm going to a lecture in a few minutes, then I'm headed out to the facility where the woman lives for whom I'm a guardian. I have a court hearing tomorrow morning to determine if I'm appointed her permanent guardian (for now I'm a temporary one, since she has no one else to make decisions for her), so I wanted to go see her before the hearing and talk to her caretaker to see if there's anything I need to be aware of. Other than that, I need to exercise. Edema again this morning. UGH!! My PCP didn't find anything wrong with my heart or kidneys, so it's just salt sensitivity. She suggested I watch my salt intake (duh!) and increase my water consumption. I already drink 10-12 cups of fluid a day, but I know some of you drink 120 oz, so I guess I'll need to join you. Fitting all that in sounds overwhelming, but I'm sure I'll get used to it...
QOTD: I have a nightshirt that I bought about 30 years ago that I love. I wasn't able to wear it for several years because of my weight, but it fits again so I wear it a lot when I'm just hanging around the house. And I have a few pairs of 2x leggings that I wear, too, if it's cold (or pants are required...) because they now fit like very loose sweat pants.
4 years 7 months out:
B: Plain Greek yogurt with homemade blueberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: I may not have time, so I'll take a protein bar with me just in case
AS: baby carrots with hummus
D: maybe some of the (chicken) sausage/kale soup I made last night - and a turkey patty (??)
ex: something. Probably cardio and upper arm weights
have a great day, everyone!

Good Tuesday morning folks.
I had a lot of pain last night into this morning. I almost fell this morning as well. So it looks like I need to use my cane more. It was from half of my leg going to sleep and I didn't notice it when I got up at first. I'm really hoping my surgeon can help get me started in the right direction. If not I need to find a patient advocate.
I've gained to much weight and it's time to stop that crap. The depression has been deep and I just haven't cared to be honest. There is so much junk in the house that I wish wasn't here but I need to, I have to, get over that.
hoping to get my hair cut today or tomorrow. Should be interesting on my back but I really need it.
qotd:I have big sleep shirts. They are 30/32 but I refuse to give them up yet. They are like drapes on me but so comfy.
