There the daily post on RNY forum about menu, activities etc (what's on your menu posts ) check this one from Friday. https://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/rny/6043043/Whats-on-your -Photo-Friday-Menu-RNYers/ I often look at what others eating and when I see an interesting meal, or combination of things- I either Google for more detail, or if I can't find a recipe - I ask the person for their recipe, how they make it.

Beside the egg eggface website (really really great recipes, even for ice cream) there are couple of other blogs I use all the time https://againstallgrain.com/ (some great ideas for cooking with no grains, or dairy, or soy.. - I am allergic to that). Her recipes are not low sugar, but I can use them often replacing sugar with calories free sweeteners if I want to. (I am 11+ years post op maintaining below my goal - and I can eat some foods with a little of sugar). BTW - when I was diagnosed with allergies or intolerance to a lot of foods finding Danielle Walker blog (against all grain) who herself her issues with her guts, was like a God send discoveries. I follow her on FB, and not only she openly share her recipes on her blog, and on FB, but she have many videos to show how she makes them. When using not a grain flours, it is sometimes difficult to know when the consistency of the raw batter is right (i.e. when trying to make grain free, dairy free "bread"). Her videos are real, and fun to watch. I often tell people that Danielle helped me make foods that i thought i could never have again due to my allergies. I make breads, cakes, cookies, etc. And enjoy them.

I also like a lot Maria keto blog https://mariamindbodyhealth.com/ , it is also very interesting, and I use that often to find new ways to make things.

Keto is not low calories diet", but post op, when I eat dense proteins- my pouch limits how much I can eat. Eating keto long term, after I got to my goal helps me maintain my weight or lose some regain if I have any.

I love Danielle Walker - she's so positive and fun, plus her recipes cover the gamut from every day to fancy!

I had never seen that keto blog before but the first thing is saw was her recipe for proveleta - one of my favorite dishes, my second favorite cheese dish ever (the #1 is still a cheese schnitzel I had in the Czech Republic). My menu today has whAt I call (not) pizza, essentially melted squares of mozzarella topped with pepperoni - it's my Italian proveleta, lol.
