What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

yes, I use the food scale religiously because my eyes lie! Turns out 4 oz of turkey turned out to be more than I could eat, so I will have turkey breast for a bit longer as it's now all in 2.5 oz portions. 2.5 turkey breast vs 3.5 to 4 oz of deli chicken really shows the impact of density! Thanks for suggesting it!

Ha, I like the all-turkey-all-day menu.
Were you around when we used to do AMAW (all meat all week) challenges? It started when Grim was posting his menus here, and only had ham on the menu for 2 weeks straight. He challenged the rest of us to do it and everyone lost a ton of weight, so it became a regular challenge for awhile.
I could use an AMAW week!

I saw them when I first joined but was on liquids still! There was a version that included dairy too, I think? I would do a week like that!
oh, I was at home goods yesterday and skinny syrups now has a keto option, they had three flavors with the mct oil - vanilla bean, mocha and salted caramel and they were 4.99 vs the 3.99 for the non keto skinny syrups

Yes, we included a CAMAW option, too. The C was for Cheese, but basically included any dairy. I sort of want to start a new challenge, but I am also really into my Buffalo Cauliflower bites in the air fryer, so I would need my C to stand for Cauli instead ;)
Interesting about the Keto syrups. I am intrigued, but at the same time, I have bought so many of them over the years and ended up throwing them away because I can't get over the yucky aftertaste.

hi- well easy to take down decorations that were never put up! they are all in storage except for the LED tree that DH never put together.
Last day was good- ran home to GA Tuesday night, drove back about 4:30 last evening, even made it to the gym this morning. Didn't get in aLL the things I planned on the workout so we will see if I want to do the rest after work.
We went to see star wars yesterday and didn't like it- very long and still left a lot of gaps and some very slow parts. but anyway the movie theatre was new and was sooooo nice- leather reclining chairs so that part was good- wings and bbq after which I still have leftovers.
foodplan
coffee/water/coffee
turkey tofu stirfry x2
egg drop soup with added mushrooms
steamed zucchini
not sure what else.
have not weighed since Tuesday morning so will do that tomm

I love the reclining chairs in the movie theaters! Why did it take them so long to think of that!?

My goal for today is to go out to the mall for a very long walk. The weather is not good enough for an outdoor walk. My first day of back on Weigh****chers was a bit of a shock. I am no longer wondering why I had gained weight. I had picked up lots of little habits that added up in extra pounds.
The tree is down and decorations are mostly put away. I leave the Nativity Set out until January 6 because that is the day the Magi came to visit Jesus. When I was growing up, the 12th day after Christmas was a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics.
That meant we had to attend Mass that day. Because the Magi came from the Orient, we would have spicy cake on that day and there would be a dish of oranges on the dinner table. Either blood oranges, clementine's, or tangerines. After dinner there would be a prayer and we would wrap all of the Nativity Set figurines in tissue paper and put them away until next Christmas.
My "treat" for today is going to be Gortons Grilled Haddock for lunch. It is frozen and I will heat in the oven and plan on three servings at one point each. I hope it is actually good.
