What's on your Tuesday (New Years Eve!) Menu, RNYers?

When a cat decides it must be fed, you might as well get up and feed it. Mine will do something destructive if ignored at 3:00 a.m. Like come in the bedroom and decide to sharpen her claws on the closet door. I just get up and feed her. Then she usually leaves it in the dish and goes to sleep.

For some reason I'm under the false impression that I can "sleep train" them, lol.

Hi Everyone!

I had a dentist appt this morning and then have been looking at online eyeglasses and making plans for the week with DH, my mother, and my MIL which pretty much took up the rest of the morning. Mah Jongg this afternoon since my mom told me that my brother and his girlfriend were out and about today, but of course he messaged me after I told the Mah Jongg folks I'd be there (after telling them this morning that I would not..) and asked if I was available so he and his gf could come over. ARRRGGH. I don't want to change plans on the Mah Jongg people yet again, so I'll just see bro tonight. My mom is having everyone over for BBQ at her place for din-din. We'll probably be home by 9:00. So as usual, no big NYE plans for us...

4.5 years out:

B: small piece of Swedish cheese cake (made with cottage cheese - and I added protein powder) with vanilla Carbmaster yogurt and 2 T ligonberry preserves, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: I'm going to have a salad with diced turkey, avocado, and light dressing

AS: I'll be at Mah Jongg all afternoon, but I have a protein bar and a couple of individual packs of nuts with me just in case...

D: BBQ. Not sure what else, but I'll only eat vegetables if there are other things there. My weight was higher than it's been in years this morning..

Happy New Year's Eve!

QOTD - No plans, I am working second job until 9pm. After that, home in jammies with husband and our dogs, one of whom suffers badly from PTSD from living on streets and fireworks. So we will be comforting our boy Lando and keeping him happy.

Breakfast - black coffee, water, fasting until 1pm.

Lunch - Fruit smoothie (frozen frui****er, chia, almond milk) to break fast, and then heading to local vegan restaurant for some food! Probably a Korean "beef" burrito (seitan), with a side of kale salad.

Snack - 1/2 peanut butter and jelly sandwich, 1/2 cosmic crisp apple (SO GOOD)

Dinner - Up in the air at this point. Leaving one job, heading to the other. Probably a fast food beyond meat taco from a local restaurant, something I can eat on the way there!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and a very safe and happy new year!

Christina

QOTD- No plans, just hoping the fireworks don't wake me, as I'm working tomorrow. I will start early so I can watch the Rose Bowl at 2PM.

I saw the new Star Wars last night, it was good but I didn't feel it lived up to it's hype. Definitely not written by George Lucas. But the popcorn was too good but tons of sodium.

The latest med is prozac and so far I'm not a zombie, but it also doesn't seem to be working well on my anxiety.

I need to get focused and work on accountability, too much sugar and carbs lately and not enough exercise. But my vertigo is back so I'm trying to not antagonize it, it is so not fun when the world spins...

Have a great New Years everyone!
