What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

Happy Monday! Sorry for the late start. I am off work today :) My mom's birthday is tomorrow (Christmas Eve) and we have an annual tradition of taking her out to a very fancy High Tea in Boston. This year we also decided to pair it with tickets to Symphony Hall to see the Christmas concert. And luck is on our side because the weather has been freeeeeeeeezing, but today the temps are popping up into the mid-50s! So it should be great to be outside and walking around :)
Accountability: [insert face palm emoji].
QOTD: Do you have a favorite old sitcom episode about Christmas? Grim made us a "mixed tape" of videos of our favorite show's Christmas episodes...Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frasier, Mike and Molly, Cheers, etc. They are all great, but my absolute favorite is an episode of Frasier when Frasier's father is in a Christmas Pageant at the church.
Not sure what to put on my menu today because of the High Tea...
M1: Protein Coffee
M2: Amylu Mini Sausages
M3: 2 Trader Joe's Turkey Meatballs
M4: High Tea!

Morning all! Quick post before I'm off to work. I really just want to go back to bed as it's cold and pouring rain here. Fun! I actually feel accomplished as I got all my Christmas gifts wrapped over the weekend and I cleaned out my spare bedroom. It had become a room where I stored all my junk. Now that it's clean I can actually put a desk in there and make it an office like I have always wanted to do.
QOTD: Nothing comes to mind at the moment.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda
L: roast beef and cheese roll up

Mornin' All!
Zumba at 9:30, picking up my brother from the airport at 11:00. Making red cabbage salad and gingersnaps this afternoon. Tomorrow - lasagna and Swedish cheesecake. I'm not really looking forward to making all this stuff, but then, I volunteered to do it, so... I still need to get one more gift and wrap the presents. Ugh. And I still haven't gotten around to doing the four or five Christmas cards I'd planned to get out last week...
Accountability was great yesterday, and I went to Aqua Zumba last night. Weight down 2 lbs this morning. YAY!!
QOTD: Oddly, I can't think of any...
4.5 years out:
B: 1/2 protein pumpkin muffin with plain Greek yogurt and homemade apple/pear compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: if I'm home, then probably salad with diced turkey and light dressing. If I'm not, something safe (because I'm on a roll and hope to stay there!)
AS: if needed, L&F yogurt or baby carrots with hummus
D: I don't know what the plans are for tonight - but if I'm home, then maybe 1/2 C of dal and some simple curry (veggies sauteed in spices and ghee - with a little paneer cheese)
have a great day, everyone!
I thought Red Cabbage and Gingersnaps were in the same recipe because when I make Sauerbraten it calls for gingersnaps. I thought it was a cool German recipe I was missing. LOL

Jen
hi all
well it has stormed rain and bad wind all weekend and continues. I got permission to work from home today and tomm so I didn't have to drive back to TN. I feel like a person that just keeps moving from one house to another. strange feelings and this coffee maker here SUCKS!!! I took the ninja to TN so I have this really crappy one and now I have to strain my coffee again because of grounds.
QOTD: I really cant think of anything.
OH- I bought a yogurt starter at the health food store so I have a container of fairlife on the IP with the starter packet. Says you can hold back some for the next batch of greek yogurt. so... I might have a yogurt making thing happening in the future again.
we are doing Christmas at moms tomm at 1pm so need to make sure I have everything ready for that.
