What's on your Saturday menu, RNY'ers?
Good morning, Weekenders!!
what's everyone up to today? I'm heading to the pool in awhile for a 7:30 water aerobics class, then out with DH (and possibly MIL) to finish up Christmas shopping (I hope...). I still have some odds & ends to finish up. I've been intending to do that every day this week, but I haven't made it very far down my list...
Accountability was decent yesterday in light of the fact I had lunch out. Luckily there's nothing else coming up until Christmas Eve.
QOTD: If you're a Christmas celebrator, what gift are you most excited about giving? I got my MIL an AncestryDNA testing kit (although she already knows about it - I wanted to make sure she was OK about taking such things before springing for it). I also got the moms yak wool shawls in India - and the guys yak wool scarves.
4.5 years out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and blueberry/blackberry sauce, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: we'll probably be out and about, so I'll take a protein bar with me just in case...
AS: crustless protein pumpkin pie or L&F yogurt or raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: maybe turkey meatballs with veggie "noodles"
have a great day, everyone!

Mornin'. Had a late start today... ran around the house for awhile this morning prepping for the day. I have about 20 minutes before my niece comes over. We are going to have a day of beauty and shopping together. Her dad is getting remarried in a week, so we are doing hair, nails and looking for a shawl to go with her dress. She is 19 and the only "girly-girl" I have in my entire family. We are besties :) I am so glad when she is home from college!
Accountability: I have finally slipped back into a small pouch pattern--thank god! I felt like I was literally fattening up for hibernation or something because I had been ravenous for months. But now I have had three days in a row when I barely remember to eat and no hunger signals at all. Yay.
QOTD: Well since my mom sometimes comes and reads (she is also post-op) and Grim definitely will... I will skip this question! But I love gift giving and I hope everyone knows how much thought I put into everything!
I don't have a fully planned menu today because I assume I will be out to eat while shopping. So here is what I have so far:
B: Protein Coffee & 2 Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage Patties
L: ??
D: maybe Trader Joe's Turkey Meatballs?
- High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)
- High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)
- Lowest post-op weight: 110 (2016)
- Maintenance Weight: 120 (2017-2019)
- Battling Regain Weight: 135 (current)
Morning all! Not much planned today other than meeting my friend for lunch. Other than that I plan on taking full advantage of being lazy today. I guess I could start wrapping Christmas presents though. Lol. I'm bad about waiting until the last second to do that.
QOTD: probably the trip I booked for my parents for their anniversary in February. I plan on presenting it to them at Christmas. Although my dad already knows about it. Had to tell him so he wouldn't plan anything for them that week. So really it will just be a surprise for my mom which is fine because I never know what to get her. She's one of those people who are hard to buy for. Never wants anything and pretty much has everything and fusses when you spend money on her. Lol
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda and sugar free creamer
L: soup and salad
D: leftovers of some sort.
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I have 3.5 miles in already and will do more later today. Made it home yesterday and today I need to finish clearing out the camper and putting things away. QOTD we aren't big gift givers but I'm excited about getting to spend time with Rudy, our oldest from Minneapolis. We pick him up Monday at Lambert and he goes back on the 30th. His wife,Dani, isn't able to come as she started a new job in August and used time off for their wedding at the end of September. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.2 today. Here's the food plan for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c loaded potato soup D 4 oz smoked sausage S if needed L&F yogurt shared with Miss Lily of course! Have a wonderful day full of healthy choices everyone!
Good morning, everybody!
Today is our Christmas Eve. We fly out Monday evening, and between the long flights and time changes, we will miss most of Christmas. So we are treating tonight as Christmas Eve and tomorrow as Christmas Day. We will go to 5:00 mass today, and open one present tonight. Tomorrow we will open all of the presents.
Marilyn's parents came in last night, so between them and DD, we have a full house. Also, I got to watch Christmas Vacation last night. My youngest couldn't believe that Rusty ended up on Big Bang Theory.
Since today is quasi-Christmas, I need to do some wrapping today and go to the gym. Also, DD wants to go to brunch.
If Cynthia is reading - Grace 8:50, as Rx'd.
QOTD: Jelly of the month club, LOL! It's more of a graduation present for son and daughter, but definitely the cruise.
Breakfast: ham and eggs
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: bratwurst
Snack: nuts
Dinner: Beef Tenderloin
Have a great day, all!

Good Saturday to everyone.
getting some last minute cleaning done and washing towels and such. Dang does my leg hurt. The bathroom was difficult! Hoping I get an appointment with the neurosurgeon sooner than later. I also hope they find one in my town(Amarillo) or I might have to travel to Lubbock :(
had another great find at the thrift store. Picture attached.
i'm honestly very very nervous and very very scared about back surgery. My eating today has been crap. I'm trying to remain calm...I know it'll be ok logically but my anxiety is just out the roof.
