What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
Mornin' All!
DH is working from home today (which means coffee shop), so I'll go over there with him for awhile and work on a couple of things I've been procrastinating on and then go to my bariatric clinic to talk to a pre-op group. Afterwards I'm meeting a friend for lunch. This afternoon I may do some more Christmas shopping. I still have to find something for my sister and my mom. I went to about a billion stores yesterday with my MIL. She found a couple of things - I didn't. Ugh. I really hate the stress of having to find things for the 50+ crowd who don't want anything!!! I may end up just getting a couple of gift cards and calling it a day!
QOTD: I'm indifferent to it. It's like any other music. I "station surf" when I'm in my car. If a Christmas song comes on that I like, I'll listen to it - if I don't, I'll change the station. Same as any other song. I don't listen to it at home - or really any music. It's always NPR/BBC on our radios at home.
Accountability was great yesterday; weight still up this morning. But I had sushi for dinner last night. I'll be pushing fluids again today. Hopefully I'll be down a pound or two tomorrow...
4.5 years out:
B: plain Greek yogurt with homemade blueberry/blackberry sauce, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: we'll probably be going to a BBQ place, so pulled pork.
AS: probably nothing - but I have raw veggies ready to go if needed...
D: maybe more of the pulled pork. Or a salad with diced turkey breast and light dressing
I took this a couple of nights ago of DH and one of the cats. Typical evening at our house...
Good morning JB and Menuers,
The pictures at the Light display are just gorgeous. I think DH and I need to head off and do something festive like that this weekend.
I am down to a little bit of wrapping, 2 cheesecakes to bake, and and one more batch of caramel covered cheese balls and I am done. I have a few things to make for Christmas dinner but that can all be done Christmas day. Then I will crack open the bottle of Manischewitz Concord Grape and enjoy the day.
QOTD: No but Christmas morning I want to be in the hot tub, drinking my coffee, and play Christmas music on the Bluetooth speaker loud enough for the neighbors to hear.
Accountability: Caramel covered Cheese Balls and tons of M&M'S and cookies
TSS: 2 years 9 days 130.8 ( I think I now have Hyperthyroidism I'll be contacting the doctor today I lost 5 lbs in the last two weeks with no gym and binging on sweets. Wonder if I can wait till after the holiday to call the doctor I'm loving the look of the scale. )
CB: Dark roast coffee with and SF pumpkin spice creamer w/Miralax and Fiber
MS Jimmy Dan Eggwich Aldi vanilla protein yogurt (their answer to triple zero.)
L: Real good 4 cheese italian.
D: Crack chicken quesadilla
Exercise: 30 Min elliptical
Everybody have a great wekend.
Brightest Blessings,
Chrissy

Good morning everyone! Those pictures are lovely!
QOTD - Usually I do but last year I put a whole christmas play list on my phone and no matter how many times I've removed it, it won't come off...so I've been afraid to listen to any this year, lol.
Last day of the week and then I"m off until next Friday....and I'm calling it a day at 1PM (I started at 5 am so it's a full day just done early).
I've had all the coffee this morning, plus my own version of an eggnog chai (and I had a protein version of an eggnog latte last night) -- I always loved the starbucks eggnog chais....so much that I would only allow myself one a week. I used the eggnog SF syrup, rum extract and the eggnog spices with 2 tablespoons cream in an irish breakfast tea -- it was yum! The cream gave it the "mouthfeel" of eggnog and the flavor was pretty good. I think the rum extract and spices are better than the SF eggnog, to be honest. The eggnog latte was a cup of decaf, rum extract, half a vanilla pp and the eggnog spices plus a little ginger. It was good too!
Breakfast - cin raisin cottage cheese
L - cheese stick and siggi's no sugar added skyr
S - built bar
D - no idea but I have a protein bar, two cheese sticks and some nuts as a travel pack, just in case
No picture this week so I'll leave you with a wish for your weekend/holiday week.
