What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
G'morning all!
DD arrived home late last night. Such a great feeling to have the whole family under the same roof. I forget how much this girl can talk, being used now to DS who barely says a word. Not only she talks, she talks fast. I thought being used to the East Coast time she would be exhausted but boy did she talk till about midnight. I had to kick her out of our room because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I'm so happy somebody wants to talk to ME!
QOTD: we are big Star Wars fans. When I met DH I had seen the original movies but they were just movies. Well, I was indoctrinated and realized it's a culture. He has had childhood friends with whom he has seen he originals and every time the new movies come out they get together and kinda repeat the ritual, minus the sleeping in line to get the tickets. DS's 5th bday party was all SW themed, with invitations going out saying the padwan has reached the age to be tested for Jedi school. DH was Darth Vader and DD was Lea. It was one of the funnest bdays with bunch of little boys dressed with their brown ponchos walking around with light sabers and pretending to be in Jedi school.
In honor of SW this year our Xmas three will be SW themed and even our Xmas card is related. So yes, you can say we are a SW family. Oh, and I'm crocheting a baby Yoda for my godson, he asked for it.
Busy day here, although I wanna be on holiday to enjoy DD. I also have my monthly support meeting. Too bad you can't take yummies to these meetings. I have made so much xmas crack to give away to everybody.
My meals are still the same (thank god for this forced detox right before xmas)
- Coffee + protein
- "Hearty" vegetable broth/miso soup
- Fage yogurt, jello
- Protein shake
Have a great Tue!

My house is full of sugar filled delights as well. I been baking since Saturday. Tonight is fudge night. I can't wait to be done so I can make the cookie trays and get it all out of my house.
