Shout out to our very own Grim Traveller who never knew that there was a dark side to having a girlfriend until he met me. I may be half his size but I can match him bite for bite!

What's the plan for today, everyone? I have a BILLION things to do. In face when I rated them all off yesterday to Grim, he just laughed and laughed... He's right--I will never get it all done. But I am going to try, dammit!

Accountability: I ate a granola bar (not even a healthy one) at a meeting to stave off the urge to murder someone who was ******g me off during the last four hours of the meeting. Good news is that it worked. Bad news is that it was a ton of carbs.

QOTD: Is there an exercise you have always wanted to try but never had the nerve? I have always been interested in weight lifting. I love watching the tiny girls in my gym do weight training but I wouldn't know where to start.

Not only do you have to feed them, you have to water them, and pick up after them. And don't get me started on top sheets.

On the left in the green top is my 74 year-old friend. One the right in the peach top is her 38 year-old daughter. In the middle is their personal trainer. Mother and daughter started weight-lifting last January. Neither one had muscles before that. Check out those old lady arms.

Good morning! Happy Saturday - I am also on the too much to get done train this weekend....but I am starting my morning with coffee and the first episode of His Dark Materials for a little relaxation before I meet my mother for breakfast. That will be the most stressful part of my weekend.

QOTD - now that I can do things, I very much take advantage of trying all the new exercises and I think the Bungee Aerobics was the most fun of the things I've tried. I would love to try something like a yoga or pilates retreat.

Accountability yesterday was good, I did not over indulge in the protein bars and I was still trying out boots so did a nice session on the elliptical. All my boot testing and I decided to return them all and just ge****erproofer for my Skecher ankle boots that I already owned!

Today I have breakfast with my mom and dinner with friends with a crap-ton of things to do in the middle so have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

QOTD: I always wanted to do a chin up. I can?t do any core due to hernia surgery but maybe in the next couple years.

i had a Dilemma last evening. I washed my moms clothes and I put a white velour shirt in with a bunch of black clothes everything looked white and these are her go to's when it comes to getting dressed

I consulted the internet and it said 1/2cup baking soda and a cup of vinegar. Through in laundry went to bed. Woke up Ran down stairs damn it didn?t work . I threw them in a dryer with a bounce and luckily it is now all in the lint trap. Just wanted to pass on this hack in case it happens to you.
Accountability: great on food water vitamins but no exercise.

Tss 2 years 3 days 133.8

Weekend are hard to plan so praying for a bunch of smart choices.
Have a great weekend

Brightest Blessings

Chrissy

Good morning all! I too have too much to get done today. I really want to finish my Christmas shopping. I'd like to finish decorating my house, but I don't know if that's gonna happen. I also need to clean my house and vacuum all the little hairballs my lovely cat likes to deposit everywhere. I swear my house stays clean for one day tops and then the hairballs start to appear again. The joys of having a long haired cat! Lol. Doesn't help that he HATES to be brushed. As soon as he sees the brush he takes off and hides. I have this miniature Christmas tree I put on my dining room table that sings when it senses movement. I put it their to keep him off the table thinking he'd be scared of it as he is scared of most things. Well that tree could sing it's heart out and the little devil just sits right there and chews on it! So I had to take that away. Sigh...he can be a headache sometimes, but I love him to death! Lol. Also have a nail appointment today and then a coffee date later this afternoon. Kinda nervous about that. Hopefully it goes well!

QOTD: Years ago my coworkers wanted me to take a Zumba class with them, but I was much too self conscious and chickened out. I think it could be kind of fun though.

B: premier shake

B2: coffee w/Splenda and sugar free peppermint mocha creamer

L: yogurt and granola or protein bar

D: Maybe leftover chicken and veggies.

Oh and speaking of documentaries from yesterday....last night I watched one on Netflix called Christina and balled my eyes out! It was about a 37 year old woman battling cancer. Such a brave young woman....I can't even imagine the torture she went through! I still need to watch the one JB recommended!

Good morning, everybody!

I'm feeling dehydrated after our neighborhood Christmas party last night. So, I need to push fluids today. Except wine.

My list for today is long as well. My oldest son is re-taking the ACT test this morning, so I have to pick him up at 12:15. And he won't want to run errands (can't blame him after the four hour test), so that kind of puts a crimp in my schedule. Oh well, i just have to be organized about it.

QOTD: Handstand push-ups

Breakfast: leftover pork tenderloin

Snack: Protein bar

lunch: Chicken

Snack: light and fit

Dinner:TBD

Have a great day, all!

Good morning menu friends! It was just starting to rain lightly when Lily and I head out for our first long, but since we're both silly we just kept going. We did our full route and didn't get too wet. We'll do more later weather permitting. Laundry, cleaning and other errands on the agenda today. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday but not enough fluids so that's the goal today. Weight today is 120.2. QOTD cross country skiing but don't imagine I'll ever do it. Here's the food plan for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c clam chowder D probably aP3 pk as we'll be helping clean up after a Christmas toy giveaway. I will take drinks with me so I stay hydrated. I absolutely hate waking up with a headache! Have a great day full of healthy choices!
