So sorry that you're dealing with pain. My gallbladder removal was so easy, that I'm beginning to think I'm the exception and not the norm. Also, I was allowed to go back to my normal diet the day after surgery. I don't know whether to thank my surgeon or be mad at him!

Feel better soon!

I had no pain after gall bladder surgery, but did take the pain pill just in case. I was up doing normal things the next day and had no diet restrictions. It was sort of a non-event.

I think the pain is mostly surgery, not so much GI. I laughed when they told me liquids and soft till I see him on 12/20. They thought I'm crazy! I texted the woman with whom I had done the pre-op liquid, she is just graduating to soft food. She laughed at me too!

I am sorry you are going through this. Everyone reacts to surgery differently. Hope things are much better today. I always say to take enough medicine to get rid of the pain because they don't give any medals for suffering through it.

Very true. Last night was rough. But today is better. Walking around is better than sitting down or laying down.

Before laparoscopic surgery, gall bladder meant one week in the hospital, an eight inch scar, and at least six weeks off of work.
