When we were given the vision of future cars, back in the 1950's or 1960's, they were going to have big solar collectors on the top for power and they were going to be self-driving, but on a track something like a railroad track.
You would drive onto the right track and be taken to your destination. There was not going to be any human driving on that track. Mixing self driven and human driven cars is not going to work, at least in my opinion.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

good morning everyone!
I've been sleeping AND eating badly for a few days. I'm just exhausted from that and my back and leg pain has been rather craptastic...but mentally I'm ok. I am worried about my leg and back but depression is holding ok.
i have one bright spot shining more so than anything else. I have kept working on this design and have made one that the folks in the chainmaille community want a tutorial for. I'm loving it too which is unusual...lol pictures below.
qotd:I hate driving but don't think it'll be a good idea to mix. Maybe some day it would work but I think it's going to be a long time.
b:pp shake
l:soup

Mornin' All!
we have a meeting this morning to wrap up some stuff related to our estate plan, then I have Mah Jongg all afternoon. Zumba tonight. It's freaking cold out (13 F when I last checked a few minutes ago), so hopefully I won't have to walk too far to anything!!!
Accountability was good again food-wise yesterday. I was planning to go to water aerobics but never made it, so I didn't get any exercise, though. Weight down 2.4 lbs since yesterday - so yes, that "gain" was definitely all water. Whew.
QOTD: no - the idea scares me. I agree with Grim in that there are too many things that could happen that the computer is almost certainly not programmed to deal with. It'll take a long time to get the kinks worked out - if they're ever all worked out!
4.5 years out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and homemade strawberry/rhubarb compote, coffee with half & half
L: maybe "mousse" made with cottage cheese, protein powder, sweetener, and cocoa powder. With raspberries (I have a million raspberries at the moment!)
AS: at Mah Jongg. I'll take a protein bar if needed to avoid eating any snacks that anyone might bring (which they sometimes do. I know the host made cookies over the weekend, so I wouldn't be surprised if she offers us some of those...)
D: Leftover Indian curry that I made last night (sauteed veggies with paneer cheese - no rice)
have a great day, all!
Good Morning! JB- I'm sending some massive spreadsheet positivity. I can relate to that squirrel today!
Accountability: See comment above, after a kind bar and nuts last night.
QOTD: I don't like driving but not sure I would trust them just yet.
TSS: 5 years 3 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, 1/2 an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Realgood food breakfast sandwich and carbmaster yogurt
D: Chicken enchiladas sans tortilla, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate
ES: Low carb pita with SF jelly and butter, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and cup fiber cereal
E: 9.6 mile run (yay for some extra time this morning) and 40 mins elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1522 Protein:144 Carbs:98 Fat:66
Have a great one!
Good morning JB, everyone!
JB, I feel for your stress. All I can say is some of the best presentations I've ever done have come "on the fly" and under times of great duress! I'm rooting for you!
QOTD - No no no. I am way too much of a control freak to want a self driving car. I drive a standard car, small so that I can maneuver, get in and out, and go at my convenience. I just don't trust people and their driving.
Breakfast - Coffee and nut pods creamer. Frozen frui****er/chia seeds smoothie
Snack - Second breakfast really - English muffin, vegan sausage patty, tomatoes, avocado butter
Lunch -No idea, thinking I will order something from local vegan restaurant
Snack - Rice roller, peanut butter
Dinner - Vegetarian pizza
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Hope everyone had a great Monday. The squirrels in my backyard look exactly like that . The neighbor broke his pumpkins in the back yard for the deer and this morning there was a squirrel sitting in the pumpkin eating the seeds. He was so cute and so happy. I have a squirrel feeder in my backyard that I fill with peanuts after the first frost. I love watching them.
The Hot tub was delivered yesterday. DH is very excited. Electrician should have it all hooked up by the end of the day. Now we just gotta wait till the temperature gets above 40 to fill it. Hopefully will be spending Christmas in the hot tub.
QOTD: Oh yes self driving. I heard a rumor that CMU in Pittsburgh has a flying car like in the Jetson's. They supposedly have a super secret test ariea for it and it is on the down low but a friends kid goes to school there and has been working on the project. How cool will that be.
Accountability: Good on everything but the Exercise. Life please go away so I can get back to the gym.
TSS: 1 year 11 months 29 days 135 ( lowest was last week 134.4)
CB: Dark roast coffee with and SF pumpkin spice creamer with miralax and fiber
MS Jimmy Dean eggwich
L: Real good Italian 2 cheese and L&F Pumpkin yogurt
D: Thai turkey burger and coleslaw.
Exercise: 30 min elliptical fingers crossed.
Everybody have a great day
Brightest Blessings,
Chrissy
