Morning everyone! Ugh I have absolutely no idea how I am going to do everything I need to do today. The spreadsheets that I need to review thoroughly to get the data for 35 different agendas were supposed to come out Thursday of last week but they didn't end up getting released until 1pm yesterday! I want to cry. It means that I am going to have to "wing it" and do a lot of analysis on the fly during meetings tomorrow and I am nervous about it. Hopefully I can get a lot done this morning.

Accountability: Meh. I had to skip the gym (I was really motivated to get back on the treadmill, too!) to get on top of those spreadsheets. Plus, I had one of those weird ravenous mornings and I ate some snacks out of my desk drawer. All healthy, but too many calories for a sedentary day.

I know it isn't Photo Friday yet, but I had to share this pic I snapped on my way into work yesterday. What is a ****tail patty? I might need to check this place out ;)

QOTD: Yesterday there was another news report about how we are getting closer to self driving cars being a reality. Would you trust it? Do you want one? I waaaaaant it. Let me be the first one to sign up, please! My 4+ hours of commuting would be so much more pleasant without other people on a train or the stressors of driving. I am already dreading tomorrow's commute which I anticipate will be upwards of 3 hours each way due to snow & the bad timing of meetings. Somebody buy me a Tesla!

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I hope your day gets better and the analysis goes faster than you think!

Is a ****tail patty maybe a little smokey but in patty form? Aren't those called ****tail sausages?

Yesterday was long, I didn't get to post in the morning and didn't get online until the end of a very long work day! Today should be at least organized better! I was frustrated when I logged off and realized I hadn't had any fluids since my morning coffee..so did not make my 100 oz yesterday. Will do so today!

QOTD - I like to drive and I probably wouldn't be an early adopter of self drive cars. I think the biggest risk will be that computers/guide/etc can plan for the routine and even a certain level of unexpected but humans aren't algorithms so planning for whatever crazy thing people will do next is hard. I can see them being good for long haul, between community drives, but not city driving.

Accountability/Menu

I feel like I was channeling Sheila yesterday (imitation is flattery, not stalking!). I found the parmesan squares and I went to cost co over the weekend to get the chicken skewers (they are so good and easy)!

Menu

B - Carbmaster Cin Raisin Cottage cheese

MS - Parmesan square (1 oz parmesan)

L - 2 Sargent cheese sticks, built bar

D - 2 cost co chicken skewers

ES - light and fit greek

Ex - 30 minutes on the elliptical (12 min walk through Istanbul and 12 minute walk on the Routeburn track in NZ and then 7 minutes just doing laps). Today I have a pilates class and will also do day 3 of the Routeborn track which is probably only 10-15 minutes. I've been doing the stepper for the warm up/cool down and I can feel my JLo butt forming!

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Yeah, I assume they were trying for something akin to the "****tail weenie", but my mind went straight to a Mojito Patty.

Love the details of your workout with your new machine. Sounds so fun.

I understand these cars will be advanced and have 5G technology and the cars will be able to talk to each other to avoid collision. But your right people you can not predict unless your phone has something in it to keep you safe.

Have you seen any changes on the scale since you have ampt up your workout? It sounds so awesome I wish the ones at the gym had options to where you can walk or climb. Can you climb the steps in the Statue of liberty or climb steps in the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Those are things I've done as a child it would be cool to do that as exercise.

I haven't really ramped it up, just mixed up what the workouts, today is the first day where I'll be doing "more" ie both the elliptical and Pilates - so that's means tomorrow I will be at least 10lbs down, right?

i haven't seen any indoor ones like that - I think that would be very cool, climb the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, leaning tower of Pisa, I will suggest it!!

****tail patties appear to be a Caribbean thing. Fried dough with stuff inside. Nope. Too many ingredients.

I am very anti self-driving car. People will die because of them. If every car was self-driving, it could possibly work. But throw in human drivers, pedestrians, children playing ball, potholes, etc, it gets extremely complex. And expensive. With all of the sensors and controls to make a car self-driving, it is very expensive, and out of reach for most people. And who is going to fix them when they're broken?

I think self driving cars are the modern equivalent of jet packs. Everyone thought those were a sure thing too.

You are thinking of the Jamaican Meat Patty...I've never heard of it in "****tail" form!

But wait... did you consider how much fun Fez would have in a driverless car? He'd get behind the wheel and and make vroom & crash sounds. Don't ruin his dreams. We need the Tesla! ...for Fez...!

Children playing ball? Does that still happen I thought they all sat home and played on computers.
