Hi all
well- I walked ran for the first time in I think 2 years. You guys know I used to run but at a very slow pace but haven't since we moved almost 2 years ago. Did 3 miles total with 1 mile of that jogging. mixed it up and the coolest thing happened- an older man and his wife and DOG came into the gym and walked the laps inside the gym. I had no idea you could do that BUT it was awesome. I stayed WARM and I'm thinking I have to keep this gym if it means I can continue this through the winter. trying to decide what to do with gym- I would like have a great lifting gym but also the ability to run on a track and be warm. the pool is a bonus. I can't run on a treadmill- I'm clumsy and feel unstable.
QOTD: I have a blip feeling when I'm full. its like a flipping sensation. The times I ignore this and keep eating cause overeating for me- I have to stay in the moment when I eat and not keep eating.
Weekend was busy- lots of things to do. I have the pups with me- brought them up yesterday. they have decided they are too good to potty outside so have been bad bad puppies... ugh

Great job with the running. I'm heading to the gym tonight for the treadmill, which I've been avoiding. But it's time...

Good morning everyone!! Happy Monday! The weekend here was good and quite relaxing. I spent Saturday shopping for the new puppy that I did end up putting a deposit down on. I get first pick up the litter and he or she should be able to come home at the end of January. Super exciting!!
I can't believe Christmas is approaching so quickly! I have so much to do at work before then and so little time all of a sudden!
QOTD: I still get both a running nose and the hiccups but I am not even 6 months post-op so I would think that is normal. I always kick myself when I get the hiccups because it's usually when I know I shouldn't have that one more bite but I do because whatever I'm eating is so good.
My menu today:
B: 85 grams skyr yogurt with 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 1/4 cup saskatoon berries sweetened with sugar free peach syrup
S: tea latte with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk and sugar free cinnamon vanilla syrup
L: 3 ounces of chicken parmesan
S: 2 wedges light laughing cow cheese if needed
D: 3 ounces crack chicken
Have a great day everyone!
Janice

I'm super excited! My dog died in September so I've been without one since and I don't think I can wait any longer. The breed is a mix - a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) so tiny. The breeder hasn't taken any pictures yet because the momma is very protective and she doesn't want to stress her out. I think within a week or two I'll be receiving the first pictures and I'll definitely share! :)
