What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

Good Morning, Kids! Back at it today... I had a nice weekend, how about you?
We took a woodworking class on Saturday and yesterday we did some epic relaxing--we binged the entire 3rd season of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, and then did a little woodworking. I definitely had too many carbs and not enough movement, but no serious regrets--it was really nice to have such a lazy day.
QOTD: Do you still get hiccups or a runny nose when you eat, post-op? I don't get a runny nose too often anymore, but I am super sensitive to drinking after I eat, and I am almost guaranteed to get hiccups if I try to drink sooner than 30 minutes after a bite.

Morning everyone! Kinda nervous today as I have an interview for my old job back. The main reason I left my old job was so I could have insurance that would pay for weight loss surgery. My old job had better benefits like paid holidays, better retirement system etc. There was also job security. New management is taking over soon at my current job and even though they are telling us they are 90% sure we will still have a job, there is just no guarantee. I?d be taking a pay cut returning to my old job, but there would be possibility for advancement whereas where I am now I?m pretty stagnant. I just hope I?m making the right decision. It?s pretty nerve wracking.
QOTD: My nose pretty much runs 24/7 these days due to allergies so that?s pretty unreliable. Lol. However, I do get the hiccups when I?ve had enough to eat. Even if I don?t feel full, if I eat much more after that I am in pain. So I always stop eating when I get those hiccups.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda

Good Morning! I am alive! I am alive! Barely. Fell into bed by 10 last night and woke up at 4:15. Decided to get up so I could have some morning time.
I love your line -no regrets. Since the week of Thanksgiving schedule and food have been off kilter and not the usual. A carb hiding around every corner. I have no regrets about enjoying food- even if it temporarily means gaining a few pounds.... but my body feels otherwise- 2 dumping episodes, 2x spontaneously vomiting my meal, a BS crash and GI distress last couple of nights ... says stop. I am sure the retail Christmas stress is a big factor as well. Ok now that I have written that all in one place I see I really do need to get it together.
QOTD: occasionally still get a runny nose.
Eats:
- scrambled eggs, spinach
- turkey, Thai slaw, low carb street taco
- roast chicken, veggies
- S: protein, yogurt
ex: Going to gym for a light session in a little while. Haven't been all weekend so want to go. Those weights are not going to lift themselves. Ha.

Oh wow, that sounds rough, Cynthia! I feel for anyone who works in retail around Christmas. I am sure I would be be really off kilter, too, with all of that stress and adrenaline. Hang in there!
