What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Ha ha, JB...we have to store Chloe's bag of cat food in the cupboard above the fridge! Right when I get it home, I put it there, and once I open it, we put half into the big sealed container that we feed her from and we put half in a Ziplock bag. And store it right back up there!
Today is my last day of wor****il Tuesday! Woohoo! The alarm will go off at 4 am tomorrow, but hopefully I can summon a good mood knowing I'll be landing in the Bahamas at noon. I am packed (mostly). My voice is about 80% returned though I still feel quite a lot of sinus drainage. I hope that clears up ASAP!
I did not have enough water yesterday so that will be a focus today.
QOTD: DC has some incredible fairs and things. Probably the most famous/incredible is the July 4th fireworks display. SO many people gather on the National Mall to watch them. We always watch from a friend's rooftop. I think the most incredible event I have ever attended in my life was Obama's first Inauguration back in 2008. Imagine hundreds of thousands of people gathered on a cold, clear day, lining every single street radiating out from the Capitol!
B: 3 string cheese, pickings were slim
L: I popped out to Giant and got my beloved ever roast! So 4 oz ever roast chicken + 2 oz munster cheese
D: We are taking the kids out since we don't have them this weekend :( They like Longhorn Steakhouse. I will likely get a salad and an appetizer.
E: My neighbor and I took a very BRISK hour long walk this morning!

Good morning and happy Thursday! One day closer to full on solid food. I can't wait! The unblended soup was fine, so i think i'll be fine for the holiday party on Saturday. Food wise, anyway, People keep telling me how crazy the party gets, how much food there is, etc. So the night will present its own challenges. Ummmm JB, can you snag an extra piece of cheese and send it my way?
QOTD: Not a single one. Los Angeles has a lot of events/festivals/etc. but my suburb itself, pretty much no.
My plan:
B: cream cheese with tiny pieces of smoked salmon in it
L: soup
D: ?? unknown because of spin. Maybe a piece of fish or tuna (not blended)
S: latte (x2) (I thouht I let my homemade latte at home so I ran into starbucks downstairs. I have the latte, i was just at the botom of my bag, and I don't want to waste it. Likely a yogurt before the gym. Have to stay away from the overnight oats for a while. It tanked my blood sugar to below 40 (the freestyle libre i use doesn't register actual numbers below 40 so I have no idea how bad it was, and I was driving when it hit it's lowest. Ooops. That was even with the added protein powder, so I need to try and minimize carbs today as much as possible.
