What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

OMG I think I would ALMOST be willing to skip the cheese parade if you wanted to bring me to the Bahamas with you! I could use some warmth! I tried to walk this morning but the wind was whipping and it was just too cooooold :(

Mornin' All!
I told a neighbor I'd go to breakfast with her today. I REALLY don't want to go because I have "eating events" the next two days, but her cat died two days ago, and I think she really just wants someone to talk to. She originally wanted to go to lunch yesterday, but I couldn't - other plans. So....we'll go to breakfast. Hopefully to somewhere with safe choices. Other than that, I have a vet appt later on today, and I HAVE to exercise (I was planning to go to water aerobics this morning, but I can't now because of the breakfast. Poop. I'll see what else is going on at the gym today...)
accountability was good yesterday, but my weight is up half a pound. It's just a normal fluctuation - so I'll be slamming fluids again today.
QOTD: maybe it's because I didn't get enough sleep last night, but I can't think of anyone I dislike enough not to use their name. Most of the people I can think of whom I've not been crazy about have names I wouldn't consider anyway, because they're all middle-aged and older and have names that were popular when they were born, but people never name their kids that anymore....and/or I just don't care for the name.
4+ years out:
B: coffee with half & half, ?? (I'm kind of hoping for an egg sandwich, if wherever we go has them)
MS: probably nothing given the likely bigger-than-usual breakfast, but I need to get a protein shake in sometime today
L: something small. Maybe just some yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit
AS: if needed, raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: vegetarian chili or leftover turkey (again....)
have a great day, all!
G'morning all,
We are drowning here. So much rain, it's been non stop. So many trees are falling down and blocking the roads, it's been a mess. But no fear, I received my new red boots and I'm ready to face the rain in style.
I have a question for those who had their gall bladder removed. Is it true that you have to be careful with your cheese intake? I knew about fatty foods (and I thought oily or fried) but when I heard about cheese I just about cancelled my surgery. I can't live without my Parmesan cheese.
QOTD: absolutely not. I couldn't even give our kids names of kids that either of us had to deal with even back in elementary school. We both thought certain names were bad simply because a bully or a mean kid had that name.
Fun story: At one of the elections I was volunteering at a poll as an inspector. At the end of the day this elderly gentleman ( he was in his late 70s) told me he always hated the name Sheila because every Sheila he met were mean. But he said I changed his mind after all these years because I was very nice to work with. After that year he has always requested to work with me at the polls.
My meals yesterday:
- coffee, coffee, and more coffee with PP as creamer
- L: 2 HB eggs + parm cheese
- S: Epic chicken + Greek yogurt
- D: Costco chicken skewers + parm cheese (do I detect a pattern here?)
Happy hump day, everyone. I might have to swim to some of my meetings today!

I had my gallbladder out in 2001 and have no issues with cheese (before or after RNY); I remember having a few issues after big nights like "girls fondue night out" but I truly think that was more to do with the other foods, not the cheese. I haven't had anysince RNY but I always had issues with fried things which was helpful in avoiding them (at least when I was away from home!).
Cheese is a mainstay of my post op meal planning so I'm fortunate!

it's raining down here too. My first world problem for the day. My work dress pants are too narrow at the bottom for me to wear boots, and I don't have any shoes that cover my entire foot (I've worked in casual offices for the last 7 years so I have booties, etc that work with jeans) and I have to walk in he rain from the parking structure to my building, so I'm in a skirt and tights so I could wear my boots. Now I'm freezing.
