Ahhhh nice to talk to a fellow Canadian!! :) I live in Saskatchewan but the province of Quebec is one of my favourite places - Montreal and Quebec City are my favourite places to travel! I lived in a little town in Quebec called Jonquiere out of high school when I went on an immersion program there to learn the language.
I hear New York state is absolutely beautiful!! I need to get there someday!
OK your talking my age here. I actually was a drinking buddy of Paul Coffee in the 80's when he won his cup with Pittsburgh.
I used to date a guy from London Ontario in the late 90's and he wanted me to marry him and move to Canada. I laughed at him My response was if Canada was so great a place to live why does Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky continue to live in the US. He had no good answer.

Well in the mid 80's not all of the hockey was on TV and I don't remember if it was 85 or 86 Mario was playing in the Canadian Cup and the only place to watch it was Charlie's Place (they had satalite TV )in the south hills of Pittsburgh and it was my regular stomping grounds. So the Pens would come to watch the games so we got to hang out. Like I said this was the 80's no cell phones or photos but I got no reason to lie. If I ever come across the picture of me with friend and Lemieux and some other players I'll post it. I was a big fan when the players were my age.
