What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
I swear I was gonna post something along these lines. Because I did marry into that family. My SIL (husband's brother's wife) is a running machine beast. She is barely 4'11" but runs those extra 50-100 miles races. Her usual casual runs are 12-15 miles A DAY!! Anyway, after I had DD and inching towards 200 lbs, as a Mother's Day gift she signed up the whole family for a 5K race on Mother's Day! If I could kill her I would. It's one day if the year where I can stay in bed and get served breakfast and she signs up for a 5K? She tried that a couple of other times after DS was born until I told her it's not my thing and it will never be my thing. Even now that I wog on a regular basis I'll cut her if she signs me up for a race.

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday!!
i am off today (except for possibly an early morning call with a colleague in Europe) and have to do the grocery shopping and start prep for tomorrow. Maybe drag the teenagers to a movie too but they were pretty tired last night and might sleep the day away! It is insanely windy here today.
Dr. Sleep was very creepy with a few too many gory parts but overall was a pretty good adaptation. They pulled a fair bit out of the original The Shining into the story and made an interesting blend. The girl that was the costar/hero was phenomenal, hope to see her again. Did I mention they did a very creepy good job?
qotd - this year we are a small group, my sister, her three kids, my aunt, my sisters boyfriend and my oldest nephew's girlfriend and her mom plus me, it's been years since we've only had single digits, should be fun.
menu today?? - we are out of half and half! How does that happen? I will have coffee and light and fit, will do the shopping early today and get some cheese and summer sausage and make sure I stay as low carb as possible since I have mashed potatoes tomorrow. Yum!
Have a great Wednesday!
