What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Does swerve work for that? I have a vegan friend who is diabetic and she uses the swerve it doesn't spike sugar levels so this might work. I am sure you can research it.

Oh, that's right IF.
When I did the bullet coffee I was on keto, not IF. So I would put a raw egg (I know it sounds gross, but it's not) and a tbsp of butter + SF syrup. All go in the blender and out comes the most delicious coffee/cappuccino I've ever had.

Mornin' All!
I have my adult education class later on this morning (last day - boo! I unfortunately missed half of the sessions due to being in India in October and then being sick for a couple of days in early November. Wah!!!). Mah Jongg this afternoon. At least I'll be out most of the day. I ended up at home most of the day yesterday, and I don't like doing that very often - I go stir crazy!
accountability was OK yesterday, but I went over my calorie range by almost 100. Not horrible if it's only an occasional thing, but I've been trying really hard to stay within range lately. At least I went to Aqua Zumba last night - I'm sure I burned it off. BUT....back to it today!
QOTD: nope. I avoid stores like the plague on Black Friday! I'll sometimes do internet shopping, though. Fortunately I did most of my shopping in India this year, so I don't have too much left to buy. Whew!
4+ years out:
B: I may just have Greek yogurt this morning - I'm not hungry at all, for some reason... I've already had coffee (with half & half)
MS: protein shake
L: something quick because I don't have much time - maybe (cold) vegetarian chili?
AS: I'll take a protein bar or a Slimfast Fat Bomb with me to Mah Jongg
D: 1/2 a Beyond Burger on a "slim" bun, salad with light dressing
have a great day, everyone!!
Good morning everyone!!
Crazy day here today. I have a work meeting which I'll have to leave early and then a couple of hours at a "Survivor Day". It is a get together for people who have survived a medical event from CPR/AED and those that helped save their lives. It is put on by our PAD program (Public Access Defibrillation) and this is the first time it's been done. I found someone from another office in our washroom at work back in April and I grabbed a coworker who attached the AED while I did CPR so we get to go to this celebration today in honour of it. It'll be interesting for sure to see everyone involved because apparently they bring together EMS, the 911 operator and anyone involved in the situation so the survivor can meet them.
QOTD - I'm in Canada so we didn't ever really have Black Friday but in recent years it has filtered down here which I'm grateful for! I won't be doing any crazy shopping but I might go out at some point in the day and see if there is anything good on sale that I can't live without! :)
As for meal planning today, I'm going to aim to stay away from the goodies they are supposed to be having at this Survivor Day celebration and focus on coming back to work and having a healthy lunch.
B: Protein Shake
L: 3 ounces of sugar free teriyaki chicken, 2 Tablespoons cauliflower rice
S: Decaf tea latte made with 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk and some sugar free syrup for sweetness
D: Alaskan Pollock burger
S: (if needed) 1 or 2 triangles of light laughing cow cheese OR 1 babybel light cheese
Have a great day everyone!!
Congrats on knowing what to do during a cardiac event. Very rewarding experience. Good job!
