QOTS:our black Friday will be buying things for the house. We need a tv, washer dryer, and new faucets and shower head. I'm heading back to barn house on Wednesday after work and finishing the food prep for thanksgiving. temped to get that fire tablet for super cheap- used to do my yoga from my old one but haven't been lately.

made ground chicken and veggies last night on a gas stove for the first time- man it cooks fast. also ran the dishwasher but it didn't dry the dishes. maybe I need to buy some dish dry liquid for it?

Oh going from electric to Gas will be a challenge. The timing is all different. Good luck but I hear wants you learn to cook on gas you won't want to ever use electric again

I LOVE gas stoves. I'd never had one until I moved into an apartment in 1995-i**** took a little getting used to, but once I was, I LOVED it and vowed never to go back to electric. When we bought our house, it had an electric stove in it. I was really bummed. I pretty much prayed for the thing to die so I could get a REAL stove again. It eventually did (well, it might have been fixable, but I didn't bother - I wanted a gas one!).

I cant make this up, Last night Joddie was working a shift in the ER, I finished up my evening chores and settled into the large chair in the Living room to look at FB and the Door bell rings at 9 pm, my neighbor was delivering Krispy Kreme Donuts that Joddie had purchased to support a fundraiser - yes I had one.....this morning I arrive at work this morning and look what is on my chair.....my son had ordered a box from a buddy , and I am also supposed to pay for it!!! I am not having one today!
QOTD - Joddie and I go every year, we do not start on Thanksgiving, we start Friday morning about 6 am, we usually take the Ferry over to Burlington Vermont, eat dinner on Church street and watch the tree lighting, is usually a fun day.

The do not stay warm, thank goodness. I am bringing this box home mid morning...I am tired of smelling them already!!
