Good morning, everybody!
I have my ultrasound this morning. That means no eating or drinking from midnight last night until after the test, which is at 9:30. Eating should be pretty easy. Refraining from drinking? Not so much. So I am trying not to think about coffee, or flavored water, or even plain old water at the gym this morning.
I was originally supposed to have the ultrasound for my liver. Even though they took a sliver of liver during my RNY surgery, my enzymes were elevated and they wanted to do the ultrasound to be safe. Now, my enzymes seem to have normalized but I had the ER visit two weeks ago. So, I think they are going to poke about my gallbladder instead.
Would they think that I was extra if I requested that they warm the gel before my appointment?
Then I am going to drink all of the liquids. Also, I am going to bring travel Miralax to the appointment with me and mix up a batch in the parking lot. Hopefully, the police don't see me administering white powders in my car and get the wrong idea.
Glad that you got Friday off, JB.
Does anybody know how to share a video clip onto OH?
QOTD: We are going to Kansas University on Friday, to watch Baylor play KU, so no Black Friday shopping this year. My mother in-law loves the excitement of it, so in years that they have been out, we have made some trips. Marilyn has her credit card through Sears and, for awhile we used to get a ton of points coupled with the Black Friday sales.
Breakfast: none- Ultrasound
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Ahi tuna salad
Snack: Light and fit
Dinner: TBD
Have a great, day all!

I think the only way to do a video clip it to link it. I haven't seen a video embedded...

They do warm up the gel, no worries. I was actually surprised how warm it was.
