Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I have our 3.5 miles done this morning and will do another mile after supper too. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.2. Yesterday was busy with laundry and cleaning and there's more cleaning to be done today. QOTD I do still measure and weigh when eating at home. I found that when I quit I gained weight. My eyes will enlarge my cup of food every time. Here's the food plan for the day B 2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 31/2 oz chicken with sugar free BBQ sauce D 3 oz oven baked chicken thigh and 3 bites baked potato S if needed 2/3 c popcorn. Have a great day full of healthy choices!
Mornin' All!
We didn't do all that much this weekend, but this week will be pretty busy (well, tomorrow and Wednesday - today won't be too bad). I have to go pick up our turkey this afternoon and plan to go to Aqua Zumba tonight. I've missed it - I've been going to regular water aerobics lately because it's at the branch of my gym that's closest to my house, but I prefer AZ - depending on who's teaching it, it can be a lot more intense than standard water aerobics. Unfortunately, they only offer it at the branch across town...)
Accountability was good again yesterday. I'm still on a roll!
QOTD: I'm really obsessed about logging. I don't do it first thing in the morning, though - I do it immediately after eating (if I wait too long after eating to log, I often forget something that I ate - so it has to be immediate!). I don't weigh and measure things as much as I did the first year, but if I'm not pretty sure about something, I'll weigh it. I often weigh meat. If it's a tablespoon of something, or if it's something like vegetables that don't have many calories, I don't always weigh or measure.
4+ years out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and homemade blueberry sauce, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: either vegetarian chili or a Beyond Sausage in a Flat Out Fold It wrap
AS: L&F yogurt and/or raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: whatever I don't have for lunch, I'll have for dinner
have a great day, all!

Good point--I don't weigh my veggies. Because honestly, if I ever blow through my calories by overeating veggies, hell will have frozen over, and we will have bigger things to worry about than the accuracy of my MFP log.

Good morning, Happy Monday y'all!
QOTD - I never was one for weighing food, however I was always cognizant of the portion size. That being said, at 10 years out I don't measure or weigh portions but I definitely know what I can and can't eat. As long as I stick to what I know, I'm pretty good.
Breakfast - Fruit smoothies, frozen frui****er - lots of coffee
Snack - Rice roller, teaspoon of almond butter
Lunch - Vegan fried rice, "chik'n" tenders, green beans
Snack - not sure?
Dinner - Vega chocolate shake (vegan)
Have an amazing day everyone!
Christina

Hi JB and all,
Happy short turkey week for the Americans among us! I am beyond thrilled to only work 2 or 2.5 days this week!
I had a fabulous weekend - I went to AnnyBananny's baby shower!!! She looks and feels great - and it was so wonderful to see her. I included a pic below.
QOTD: not as much as I should. When I was successful and at goal, I weighed and measured. Coincidence? I think not! B: 2 hard-boiled eggs mashed with 2% cottage cheese and everything but the bagel seasoning, after my iced coffee with half and half and sugar-free syrup L: Turamo's low carb wrap with 3 oz boars head ever roast chicken, 2 oz munster, mayo D: pan sautéed spicy rub haddock and potatoes for Krison 11/25/19 10:49 am
Oh great picture! Such an exciting new addition!
