What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

It Mondaaaaaaaay... Ahhh. I had an extremely productive weekend, and now I need another weekend to recover ;) I baked, and cleaned, and ran errands, and baked some more. I had a friend come over last night and we decorated cookies together. It was a fun weekend, and I am mostly feeling ready to host on Thursday. It should be a quiet week at work, too (knock on wood!), so I hope to enter Thursday feeling somewhat relaxed and not frenzied.
Accountability: What is actually wrong with me? I can't seem to pull it together on weekends anymore. I think I am going to go extreme until Thanksgiving and try liquids. I need to "shake it up" haha. Anyway, I looked back at menus from my first 2 months post op (haven't missed a day in 4 years) and decided to eat like that for a few days and see how I feel.
QOTD: Do you log, weigh, and measure every bite? I do! We have the food scale out on the counter and we do weigh the food eat. If I say I am planning on eating 3oz of something it's not a guess! I am also pretty good about going back and fixing my menu to reflect the changes I made through the day and logging accurately. It's not always pretty to learn the truth but it's helpful to see how little bites really throw off my macros.
It's finally a nice day--temps are back up a bit and it's not raining (FINALLY!), so I am excited to walk both ways to and from work today. I really hate that bus and I really enjoy moving that much in an otherwise sedentary work day.

Good Morning! JB- I'm glad you're getting all set for Thursday. Em and I have a baking day planned today (for the platters we will deliver on Thursday to a few of the local fire stations). Tomorrow we are going to a movie and hang out.
Accountability: Too many snacks last night.
QOTD: I only weigh/measure at home if it's something new or something I haven't eaten in awhile. I should probably do a reality "check" and measure/weigh for a good few weeks.

Good morning, everybody!
Each year, this week seems to follow a familiar pattern. Today is surprisingly quiet and I find myself thinking that this year it may be an easy transition into the Thanksgiving break. As the three days pass, employees come into my office to wish me a happy Thanksgiving. That's code for "I'm going on break now don't bother me"
Tomorrow something unexpected blows up and demands a pre-Thanksgiving rush and I end up working late Tuesday night and having a high stress day. And Wednesday. Almost without exception, some 20 something client will badger me with questions late into Wednesday afternoon. Why? Because all they are doing for the holiday is going out drinking on Wednesday night with college friends and then rolling over to their parents at 3:00 on Thursday.
I generally do not check my messages Thursday.
QOTD: I am good about logging but need to be better about weighing.
Breakfast: Chicken street tacos from Costco
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Steak
Snack: Light and Fit
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Me too Emily. And I'm sure they are thinking why not work late on Wednesday and impress the boss, they don't have to be in the bar until 8:00 anyways.

Those are the days I want to auto-reply my emails with: "Hello, Thank your for your email. Please remember that your poor planning, is not my emergency. I will get back to you next week."
