Good morning everyone!! I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought, it's my 3 years Surgiversary!! I am feeling a bit emotional as I am sitting here sipping on my coffee. 3 years ago, my life changed forever! I remember right before they took me back to surgery and I looked at the nurse and told her that I needed to clarify that I could bolt right now if I chose to. She looked at me and said yes, but why?? That my life was about to change.

I am headed to have my hair cut and colored this morning. My husband is getting off early today and then we are hoping to go for a hike and celebrate!

QOTD- I have many fears! A huge one for me is snakes. This may sound cheesy, but I would like to be able to walk in my backyard during the summer without fear of snakes. My husband calls it BSC ( big snake country). I am literally paralyzed with fear, my heart races and I just cry. I ripped the flowerbed out of my front yard this summer. They would lay in it and sun themselves. So, I am thankful that the weather is cold now and I can take the garbage out without fear and walk in the backyard. I am still scared when I go in my basement. In the back of my mind, I wonder if that is where they went for the winter. ( yep, I got issues!!)

Food for today-

1 egg, 3 oz ham

chomps in the car after my appt.

shredded chicken with pico

chicken cordon bleu with broccolini

Lots of water, hot tea and vitamins always.

Good morning! Happy EFFIN FINALLY Friday!

QOTD - If I had no fear, I would leave my current jobs and do what I am passionate about. My fear is not being able to pay our mortgage, losing what we have worked hard for. So, instead I work for two great companies where I love the people I work with, but it's not my passion. I channel that into my volunteer work!

Breakfast - Eh, IF going until 11 so probably just going to wait till lunch. Having some hot coffee tho!

Lunch - More vegan veggie soup (homemade), white rice with olive oil, multi grain bread (1 slice) with vegan pesto (broiled).

Snack - Celery, rice roller and peanut butter. I think I go through a jar of peanut butter every two weeks!

Snack - frozen fruit smoothie, (frozen frui****er)

Accountability. Here's some real talk. I'm trying hard to stay off the scale. I'm trying really hard to not let eating/not eating take over my life. My husband is aware of my issues with food/eating, and he's trying really hard to steer me in the right direction when he sees me being consumed by it. He just reminds me to focus on my goal (being healthy, NOT being skinny). This is helpful and helps me get my head back where it needs to be to continue to be successful and working on my health.
