What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
on 11/19/19 1:48 am
Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Monday! I definitely had a good one. Whatever is going on with my eyes is getting better (I am leaning towards a self-diagnosis of conjunctivitis?), and I generally enjoyed my job yesterday. I like being busy and being able to solve interesting problems, and yesterday was a lot of that!
Accountability: Way better than I have been, but I mindlessly munched on some Chex mix at a meeting for no reason. Barely any steps yesterday either because it was freezing rain all day and I was forced to take the bus the whole way, both ways. I ended the day with just 5500 steps, when I usually have close to 20,000!
QOTD: Let's get an NSV round up! What is making you feel good about your weight loss lately? Yesterday I ran into an old old co-worker who I haven't seen in about 10 years. I didn't know she worked in my building now, and it was fun to find out she works a few floors below me. Anyway she was just gushing over how good I looked. She didn't say "thin", but it must be what she meant, because lord knows everything else about me looks a lot older... Meanwhile, she looks *exactly* the same. I swear, she probably hasn't gained or lost one pound in that time. Some people are so remarkable that way! No fair.

Good morning and happy Tuesday!
i am in for a long Tuesday, I couldn't fall asleep last night and I've been up since 2 am. Full day of meetings, then a late cardio Pilates class. Might see if I can get in an earlier one before the exhaustion kicks in.
Qotd - I was in San Antonio office last week for the first time since ore surgery, a lot of people commented that "I didn't recognize you, until you opened your mouth", lol. Also, low blood pressure, normal a1c, and generally in better health at 47 than at 40!

Good Morning! JB- I'm glad you're enjoying your job! After the nightmare you went through with the last one you definitely deserve the best. Your chicken/cream cheese combo sounds delish!!
Accountability: Argh is all I'll say about that.

OMG you are one of the most intense athletes I know!
Have you seen the Philly Cream Cheese dips in the store? The buffalo one is so yummy--tastes just like the one I used to make, homemade, and the stats are perfectly Keto.
