What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Here you go. Melting the white chocolate and dipping the biscotti into it after they were done baking seemed like a bit of a hassle, so I just mixed the white chocolate chips into the dough before baking the biscotti, as one of the reviewers suggested. Seemed easier. They were great!!

Thank you! This is great for holiday cookie exchange parties.

yes -- they would be. They'd be a little different from what everyone else brings - and they're great, too!
btw - I had to use my hands to mix once I put the cranberries & white chocolate chips in there. It would have been tough to use a spoon at that point. They really turned out wonderful, though - this recipe is a keeper!
Good morning, and Happy Finally Freaking Friday!
QOTD - Mashed Potatoes and Chocolate. NOT together.
Breakfast - Skipping, trying to keep my IF going until lunchtime. I'm currently at 18 hours!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! It's supposed to warm up to 70 degrees this weekend, so that makes me happy!

Thank you! I hit 21 hours, which is about my limit. I do plan on trying a 24 hour this weekend. Should note, this is for health/mental reasons, not weight loss.
I do feel like a side effect is a brand new pouch. I feel like right now, at most I can eat 1/3 of a cup. This is DEFINITELY a change, as I was up to at least 1 cup of food per meal. At 10 years out, this feels wonderful!

I tried a couple of 24 hours, and with my trainer we did a 60 hours together, literally by the skin of our teeth. It was hard, but at least I can say I did it! :-)
It was mostly to see if we could do it.

Happy Friday, Everybody!
Boy, did I have a night yesterday. At about three o'clock I had a protein bar and almost immediately my stomach started hurting, radiating around to my spine. I left work and took the train home, in pain and dry heaving in the train rest room. Marilyn picked me up at the train station and brought me home to lie down. Soon it became clear that I wasn't getting better and we decided to go to Urgent Care.
On the way to Urgent Care, we decided to instead go straight to the hospital emergency room. I got to the hospital, checked in, went to Triage, did blood work and then had what turned out to be a 5 and 1/2 hour wait. Every 10 minutes or so, I would get up and walk around, thinking that it would be less painful to stand, or sit, in a different position, etc. Finally after about 3 1.2 hours of waiting I fell asleep for about two hours.
And when I woke I felt better. Finally, they called my name, admitted me, gave me an X-Ray, ultrasound and a CAT Scan. The medical students doing the ultrasound could not find my left Kidney. They looked at gall bladder, intestines, - everything that I could think of.
The consensus was that I didn't have any blockages and that my organs looked normal. I was discharged at 4:30 and went home to sleep.
I don't know something got stuck and just dissolved while I was waiting?
Anyways, today I'm going to focus on fluids and soft foods.
