You guys are a hot couple. Here in Pittsburgh Sidney Crosby is out for the next six weeks due to hernia surgery. He got a shout out on the "This is us" episode this week if anyone is a fan. Hope he comes back strong for the playoffs and we do well enough until then to make it there. Today I smell like Weekend Vibe, might be my favorite so far!!!!.

Thank you for the compliment! The Pens have one of the Habs ex players, Galchenyuk, though I believe he has been hurt? Crosby is a great player and everything I read about him says he is a class act.

I am happy you enjoy the fragrances.

Yes Crosby is a class act. Mario taught him well. Truth be told all of the Penguins are class acts. Now our other sports teams not so much.

Montreal doing well so far. Good luck against the Caps tonight. My teams (Preds and Hawks) aren't doing as well, but play each other again tomorrow. That's always fun cheering for the Preds being a Chicagoan. Can't wait for them to play the 3 games in Chicago (have tix for those and will get game day pucks). Watching the game with my WLS pal I share partial season Hawks tix this Saturday. He's a Leafs fan (coming from Toronto), so I'm afraid he wouldn't be complementary to your team ;)

Have a good one.

It is a strange start to the season, Tampa and Toronto are both struggling. It has become a young mans league. Enjoy your games, I would love to see a game in Chicago!

Morning everyone! So glad it's Friday, although lots going on this weekend. A group of friends coming for brunch and knitting on Saturday and former coworkers of DW's coming on Sunday. Lots of fun but cooking and cleaning to do ahead of time.

Got word from the cardiologist that my Holter monitor was clear!! So after all of the tests, no vascular blockages, no arrhythmias, no heart damage, only the electrical problems that don't appear to require treatment. That said, I'm still exhausted alot of the time, dizzy and almost fainting but no diagnosis of why.... Back to my doctor today.

Weight is going down slowly as I keep working on kicking the sweets and other carbs out. It really is SO easy to slide down that slope into binging.

Menu:

B1: coffee w/ Carbmaster milk & miralax

B2: Carbmaster yogurt, blackberries & slivered almonds

L: veg soup, EverRoast chicken

S: protein shake

D: cauliflower pizza w/ chicken, mushrooms & artichoke hearts

E: walking

Happy Friday! So this weigh****chers experiment is not going so well for me as I am up over a pound! I will stick with it for a couple more weeks and then make a decision. I have a feeling though, I should just go back to early post-op eating and reset the mind, the pouch works fine!

B=Latte with irish cream later, grapefruit sections

L=Tuna with mayo

D=dinner out -probably steak or grilled chicken and veg. NO BREAD!

QOTD=basically the Italian specialty grocer down the street from my office. Breads, pizza, meatballs and cake

EX=Bootcamp

Must drink more water!
