I was picturing him setting up a whole home gym situation like the contestants on American Ninja Warrior!

Morning all. A little warmer here today but my new commute involves waiting on the platform for the train in a wind tunnel and walks on either end of the train ride. Shopping for a long coat rated for extreme cold, wind and rain/snow. I like the one from LLBean and I'm waiting for a great deal.
Still really tired but thinking it's time to start working in more cardio and moderate weights. I want to take it slowly though because I still have some unexplained periods of dizziness and fainting.
I have a 30 minute chair massage today at lunch and acupuncture tomorrow. My neck, shoulders and back are still extremely tight and painful. My body keeps holding onto the stress apparently!
Menu:
B1: coffee w/ Carbmaster milk & Miralax
B2: scrambled eggs, red bell peppers, turkey sausage patty
S: CarbMaster yogurt
L: veg soup & TJ's balsamic chicken
S: more CarbMaster yogurt
D: hoping for chicken kabobs and salad
E: an hour of walking during commute

Ooh that's tough to have to wait on a windy platform. I am in a wind tunnel too when I get off of the train downtown, which is I prefer to walk rather than wait for the stupid bus. But this weather is really testing me.... it is miserable either way.
Sorry to hear you are still dealing with the dizziness. Hang in there!

Good morning Jb and Menu crew. Sorry to hear you had a bad work day. Working in HR must be hell in February when everyone is miserable. I would not do well as an HR person. I am very good about working through things and expect everyone to do the same. LOL
QOTD - I have Dumbells and a treadmill. I prefer the gym, but when I am really bored i will fire up the treadmill and watch Hulu. I use the Dumbells often and do alot of planks and stretching as well. I have thought about the peloton as well, I am not able to justify it at this point.
So- I have some news. Next Tuesday will be my 5 year surgiversary. I am sure most of the regulars here have seen me mention my goal of getting to 195 ( My low was 178). I have always ate very well, have tried to drop calorie intake, carb intake, intermittent fasting, you name it, I have tried it. I have not been able to get to my goal. I have been within 5 lbs. I was recently looking at my surgery program binder and decided I am going to do the 7 day pre op diet. My program recommended 800 calories, shakes, sugar free jello and pops , decaf coffee and cottage cheese, skim milk. What will it hurt. Wish me luck. I am also going to cut my exercise routine to stick to light cardio during the 7 days. Following 7 days I am going to go back to low carb.

Good luck with your plan. I hope it works well without torturing yourself. I smell like Havana nights today and everyone at work gave it the thumbs up. I'll let you know my favorite after I get through the rest of the scents.

I hate being one of those keto-preachy people, but have you tried it? I know that my pouch just could not possibly stay satiated with shakes at this stage out and I would be more likely to cheat, hard.
I have been completely compliant for 1.5 weeks (...this time around...) and I have lost 3.5lbs already. But the craziest part is I am not hungry at all. And I am not exaggerating. I had forgotten how good it feels to feel full and satisfied because I think I have been chasing a phantom hunger from carbs and sugar for awhile. The detox is really mind-blowing.
That's my 2 cents...take it or leave it :) Either way, you got this!!
