What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Mornin' All!
I'm trying to decide whether or not to go to day 2 of the Diversity Forum on campus. It was pretty interesting yesterday (John Quinones was the keynote speaker (former ABC news correspondent and current host of "What Would You Do?")), but this is also day 2 of what's becoming a bad cold/cough for me, and I feel like crap. Plus I'm afraid my coughing is really going to bother other people. I guess I could sit in the back of the room and leave whenever I have a coughing fit - but then, I'm not feeling all that well and am probably contagious to boot. I guess it might be better to just stay home today :-(
accountability was great yesterday!
QOTD: I have some (lip balm) around in various places but rarely use it. My favorite is from Kiehl's.
4 years 5 months out:
B1: protein shake, coffee with half & half
B2: if I'm home (which I probably will be), I'll make some more protein pancakes. Maybe pumpkin ones. With cooked apples, plain Greek yogurt, and SF syrup on top
L: if I'm home (as in most likely), salad with diced turkey and light dressing
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries - or else raw veggies and ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: if my fish is thawed, then fish tacos. Otherwise probably dal and salad.
have a great day, all!

I believe that some chapsticks, specially the ones that contain petroleum based products like Vaseline, or artificial flavors and tastes can irritate and dry lips. And the more you use it, the more of that you need. Some more natural chopsticks are IMO really benefitial to not only protect but also nourish our lips. Very rarely I put anything in my lips that I wouldn't want to eat. Even small amount can affect the condition not only of out lips but also of our mouth. For anyone who gets canker sores, or herpes - cold sores outbreaks occasionally - changing what they use on their lips can affect if they get an outbreak, or if they do, how often and how bad that is.
Many years ago I discovered more natural stuff made by "Quantum". Their medicated lipsticks, and their "green magical salve" are in my life and in our house all over the place.
Based on my personal experience and my testing that my family and friends, using the chapsticks daily prevented most outbreaks, or helped healing them if they occur.
The "green magic cream" as I call it - I use it on almost everything: severe hand burns while cooking, any cuts or scrapes, pimples, dryness of my skin on my face, even ...on around and in my eyes. I also use that on our cats. It is one of those things I take with me while I travel. Q
Quantum Health Super Lysine+ ColdStick . - they come in regular or flavors like strawberry or tangerine. (Strawberry is my to go choice)
