What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning menu friends! It was nice to have a bit more light this morning for our walk and Miss Lily was much more ready to go than I was. We'll do 2 more walks later today. Accountability was perfect yesterday both food and stepwise and weight is 121.2 today. We'll have a busy day at work as we still have trucks to unload but we have lots of volunteers to help too. QOTD this made me laugh! I have no sense of direction. In fact we travel so much sometimes I don't even know what time zone I'm in. And why does the GPS tell you to turn east. If I knew where I was headed,I wouldn't be using it! Here's the food plan for the day B 2 dark chocolate protein waffles with sugar free syrup L 4 oz crab salad D 4 oz pork burger with cheese andno bun S if needed 3 peanut butter crackers. Have a wonderful day full of healthy choices everyone! Time for my first cut of coffee!
Mornin' All!
I didn't do too much over the weekend - I think I needed the time to just rest up. I was trying to shake the last little bit of jetlag and seem to be coming down with a cold to boot. I had no energy. Hopefully I'll be more motivated starting today!
One of the cats has a vet appt at noon, and I have to take my MIL to the doctor's at 4:00 (she was hospitalized with pneumonia for several days while I was in India. She does seem to be doing a lot better - guess we'll find out more today...). I also need to watch a movie sometime today for my film discussion group on Friday, since this will be kind of a busy week (esp tomorrow and Wednesday). And exercise. I need to exercise...
accountability has been better but I still need to rein it in more. I'll cut up more raw veggies this morning so I'll be more apt to reach for those when I want to eat something as opposed to yogurt or a protein bar (not necessarily bad choices - but a lot more calories)
QOTD: I don't have problems with NSEW when I'm in Madison because of all the lakes (there are four lakes in town - and a couple more out in the county). For example, I know if I'm going toward Lake A, I'm heading north. But once I'm out of town, forget it. If the sun isn't rising or setting, I have no clue.
4 years 5 months out:
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt, chopped cooked apples, and SF syrup, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: salad with diced turkey and light dressing
AS: raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip
D: I'm thinking fish tacos
ex: yoga for sure. And maybe a walk or 45 minutes on a stationary bike
have a great day, all!
Good morning JB and menu folks. Another weekend in the books, was so dark at 5 pm last night. Yuck. Saturday night we celebrated the Baptism of our Goddaughter Maddie. Joddie and I take her often, she is such a happy little peanut. She did not whine or whimper through church the ceremony and then dinner.
Accountability - meh.........
QOTD - sense of direction , yes. names of roads and streets, no. I think the gps has made me a little lazy.
B - egg salad
S - ham roll up
L - salami and cheese
S - cukes and dip
D - egg roll in a bowl
E- gym night
Stay healthy my friends.

Good Morning-
QOTD: I have a great sense of direction. I didn?t realize it was good until I had a job at a rehab I worked at that included sending drivers out to pick people up for program- this was before GPS. I did not realize mine was good, until I realized how bad other peoples were.
2 food finds this weekend-
Went to Cheesecake Factory and got their burger protein style. They wrap it in butter lettuce and foil. Worked really well. Romaine or iceberg are too crunchy, this was so much better. Burger was really tasty too.
Bought new Premier protein cafe latte- I do not usually do blender shakes but ... blended it with a third scoop chocolate protein, ice and if you want it creamy a fraction of a teaspoon xantham gum. It was delicious. Tasted like a Jamocha Shake from Arbys.
- peppers onion spinach carnitas omelette
- Fage and berries
- salad and grilled chicken
- Dinner TBD
- S: protein

I am in a dilemma- today is last day of my gym membership, doesn?t really make sense to stay with them- both price wise, and with new job location, location and hours... but it is small and what I am used to. Ack. I have looked a couple of places but nothing yet...

Yum that shakes sounds great!
Do you have a Planet Fitness nearby? I expected that with the rock bottom price of $1 down and $10/month it would be really nasty, but they all have really nice up to date equipment, they are clean and, except for a pool, they have everything you would want in a gym. I got the slightly more expensive membership so that I can go to any of their locations, and I have found them all to be nice!

I love my Planet fitness and the classes are include in the price if your interested. I have the black membership so DH can tag along sometimes. I do the message beds every so often for a special treat. You can't beat the price. But like you said , I wish there was a pool.
