What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
It's good to hear from you Daisy. Hope that you have just been busy and not suffering from migraines, lately.
You are right about the technology. Players started curving their sticks right around 1960 which made the shots much faster. But no mask for a goalie in the 1970's was lunacy.

Sorry that work stuff overlapped with the trick or treating but your daughter's taco costume is pretty great. How creative! Those goalie mask facts are pretty crazy. In light of the risk, I cannot imagine, lol. Brave guys. I have been hearing of early onset of flu this year and I was glad I got my shot out of the way right when they came out. I made sure my partner got theirs too. I hope it isn't a bad season and that the worst strains are covered at least. I hope the new leather jacket and boots make up for any discomfort from the brief jab of the needle =)
I believe that you had your fall while I was away. SO sorry to hear that.
I am just so impressed by your ability to stay positive!

I was working at a computer room located in the middle of a factory. I was scheduled for a midnight shift and the main entrance was closed. I had to go through an entrance in a very old part of the factory. It was a dark place in the daytime, but that night most of the lights were out. I knew that there were rats in that place.
It was about a half mile walk to where I needed to be in a dark, creepy, and deserted old building. When I was almost at my workplace, a guy wearing a hockey mask jumped out from behind a corner and yelled Boo.
I was really scared and it took me a while to get over it and laugh about it.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
That would have freaked me out!

It's easy to tell which picture is right after an hour long contentious conference call and which is on a Saturday morning.
Boots are Rancourt.

Adorable costumes there, guys and what fun, creative treats! I am sorry to hear about the pizza incident. Yeah... we can get away with things and then reality can sorta wallop us sometimes. I hope that a day of warm liquids helps things feel back to normal. Our city rescheduled trick or treating but we haven't had anyone in years. It seems that a lot of festivities are more organized like trick or treats or local businesses. I usually do something low key but fun for the kids at home but I love reading what everybody else does and seeing the fun, creative flair come out in people.
