What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

Hiya everyone! We made it to Friday! I literally have NO weekend plans and I am thrilled!!! I want to find a good new show to binge, curl up, and go for it. Any good show recommendations? I am thinking about Killing Eve.
Halloween was pretty much a disaster. Remember how I said we were having pizza at work? Hmm, in retrospect, I don't actually think I have had a "real" piece of pizza post-op! I have had really thin, cafe style, but never tried a real piece. Oops--yeah I can't eat that! I had about two bites before it got stuck and I had to force it up in the bathroom like a newbie... Damn it. So that was the end of trying to eat yesterday.
Plus it was pretty yucky weather which kept a lot of kids home from trick or treating. The last few years we had hundreds of kids, and last night we had about 30 (and a few were repeats, haha!). So we have way too much candy left. It's going to take some will power, but I need to get all of the crap into the trash can and out of this house.
But on a brighter notes here are pics from all the Halloween fun!
Things I made for our work party yesterday:
Low-Key Couples Costume. Netflix & Chill :)
This was the reason I had Oreos in the house this week... the base of the cake pop was an Oreo.
QOTD: What was the best costume you saw this year? On the bus ride home I saw 4 teen boys. Three of them had a giant "E" on their chest and the 4th was a mosquito. EEE and a Mosquito! Hahaha. Creative.
Since I had that stuck situation yesterday, I am going to stay away from solids today and go soft. It still feels a little tender when I swallow... Shakes, yogurt, and eggs should do the trick. Plus a day detoxing from all of the extra sugar I ate this week isn't a terrible idea.

Happy November!!!! Netflix ideas - have you seen The Bodyguard, Shetland, or Hinterland? I also really liked The Tunnel series but I think that is amazon prime. I will likely be watching the last of the GBBO and the new season of Jack Ryan this weekend - I have unexpected time at home now.
qotd - I didn't get a ton of kids, only about 30 but I was only home to give out candy for an hour so it was respectable! My favorite was a little little dressed as a cow (nice furry warm outfit). He/she has no idea what was going on but was very excited! Also loved the baby dressed as Elmo who's toddler sister told "no, that's not Elmo, that's Cameron".
Well, no travel for a bit for me and probably surgery next week - they think bile duct stricture but sending me to the university hospital today for some more tests today.
I did go into the office and do all my meetings before I headed to the doc and have a light day today so hopefully I won't get too far behind. Costume was a big hit!
I ended up not being hungry at all yesterday and just focused on warm fluids which I will probably do again today. With a good culture cottage cheese and a PP I wasn't too low on protein.
have a fantastic day!

I love the costume. Holy heck ... bile duct stricture sounds miserable. I am glad you went and got that checked out. Hang in there. Edited to add ... I am catching up on shows too. I am really happy that Season 2 of Jack Ryan is coming out. It is something that both my partner and I can enjoy watching together. I am also falling down the youtube vlog rabbit hole. It is hard to stay put and rest but I am thankful to have things besides the kids to distract me and make me sit and chill right now. I hope that 2020 brings health and happiness to the RNY OH crew. For real.

I love your outfit. You have the best smile Jen, its lights up your face. I actually like you as a blond too.
Oh man sorry to hear about the possible surgery. But you need relief so I hope your tests today reveal some more answers and you get out of pain soon. Feel better!
