I am so glad it was a great time!

BTW, I used to have a student who was on the autism spectrum and he loved Hondas. He knew every singe make and model and color of every Honda ever built and when we would go out for recess he'd get so incredibly excited when a Honda would drive by or if there was one in the parking lot. It's been over 20 years since that kid was in my class, but every time I notice a Honda I can can hear him yelling with the most uninhibited GLEE, "It's a HONDA! Look! It's a HONDA"!

I hope everyone has a good start to the week. I hope our members from the California area are safe and able to share how they are doing and what exactly is going on over there. That whole thing sounds like a mess a very scary :/

QoTD - I drive a chevy traverse. It is supposed to be a safe car and there are enough seats for everyone although we are big people in my family so sometimes it is a bit of a squeeze - but that is just how it is when you come out of the womb Amazon sized, lol. It has the option of heated seats which as a post op bariatric patient is an amazing thing and really feels like a huge luxury. When I was a kid I thought we would have flying cars as we approach the year 2020 but heated seats is a nice compromise I think ;)

Good morning and happy monday!

Is it wrong that I will only eat bacon out/at someone else house because I can't deal with the mess and the lingering smell? I mean, bacon YUM but unless I go for the precooked microwaveable, it's rare that I make it. (and I have been informed by bacon experts that the precooked and microwaveable bacon is self-punishment).

My weekend was good - it's the last one that I had on the calendar until the end of the year where I could be very chill so I took advantage of i****ched TV, read books, slept til 7 am both days!

It's cold and snowy here this morning, although not as snowy as they called for. I'm of mixed minds - I would love more snow but I have a vendor event at the office tomorrow so would prefer not to drive in with snow -- might bit the bullet and pay the $20+ to take the toll road if I have to. It is supposed to snow off and on through Wednesday but no snow just very cold for Halloween!

QOTD - I have a 2013 Mazda CX-5 and I love it. If I had to buy a new car right now, I would get the same but with remote start and heated seats. Has anyone tried the cooled seats? I swear they make me feel like I am peeing -- not a fan but I do love me some bun warming seats!

Coffee with PP and then all the hot teas

B - cottage cheese

L - motz/pepperoni melted in the microwave

D - same as lunch

S - L&F greek

Those of you that freeze your L&F - have you frozen any regular yogurts? I had a tillamook dark cherry one yesterday and put it in the freezer; the consistency was way more icy than the L&F when frozen; did not love!

Have a marvelous monday everyone!

I bake it in the oven at 350 with foil over the pan no splatter and it comes out super crispy. I also have my brother make it for me from pork bellies so no nitrates. If I get over there I'll take a picture of the bacon making process.
