Congratulations on becoming a grandmother. What a sweet, sweet blessing each time! I loved reading about "weaning back on to coffee". It has health benefits ya know so good for you ;)
G'morning all and happy Fri-yay!
I have made the decision to come back to OH, as my happy place. After I landed back in US on Sun the proverbial ****e hit the fan-DS related and as a family we've been dealing with it. It physically hurts me talking about it so let's just say things are not good, but I need OH to be my non family related place. So I will come here, post, talk about food and menu and other daily stuff. You guys will be my safe harbor...no pressure! ;^)
JB - your pics are great, which cathedral is that? I lived in Boston when I was in grad school and I can't remember that church.
No big plans for the weekend, except to get the house ready for trick or treaters, a Costco run to buy tons of candies and a book club meeting.
QOTD: growing up I loved Dario Argento movies. Nowadays I can't handle gory but I'm good with psychological thrillers.
I'm gonna try and post my menu from the day before to be a little more accurate because I never know what I'm eating the morning of :
B: hb egg + chicken sriracha (I'm still jet lagged and my hrs are wacko)
L: in-n-out protein style burger (on the rd)
S: chicken meatballs + parm cheese
D: hot buffalo tuna + hb egg
My pic is from a surfer statue downtown that got dressed up for Halloween, it made me laugh. Also last Sun when I was landing in SF we passed right over the Golden Gate.
Have a great weekend, everybody!

Welcome back. Sorry things are tough :(
Where did you go to Grad School? This cathedral is in the South End on Washington St. It's the one where the Boston Cardinal resides. Funny, when I worked in that neighborhood 25 years ago it was a complete ****hole and now it is one of the most expensive areas... It's wild.

Went to BU. Lived first in Watertown then in Arlington. Worked in Cambridge. The commute with bus & T was fun, especially during winter. On student budget my jeans would freeze in the mornings!
