What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?NYers?

Seriously, though...this week was ROUGH. What are your plans for the weekend? I don't have much going on and I hope to keep it that way!
I have a random assortment of pics today, starting with our night out to see Nick Offerman:
(photobomb!)
And since I walk between 3.5 and 7 miles through the city every day now, I decided to start taking pics of my adventures! Here are some pics I took of beautiful Boston this week:
BUNKER HILL MONUMENT
Signs in Chinatown that made me laugh..first the bakery, then "double chin"...yep!
A Cathedral that I walk past every day.
Accountability: Not awesome. We had a work birthday party and I had 1/2 piece of strawberry mousse cake (scraped off most of the frosting). Then I missed my train and had an hour to kill in the train station. I was starving and grabbed Cheezits, which may have actually been the best choice? Meh, it was still dumb.
QOTD: It's almost Halloween! What is your favorite scary and/or Halloween movie? I like old Hitch**** movies if I want a good adrenaline rush! Vertigo is my all time favorite. And somehow I am the last person on earth to have never seen Hocus Pocus. We'll have to do that this weekend :)
I am kind of hoping we'll go out for dinner, but if we stay home it's chaffle night! I got these new keto-friendly flavor drops in Cornbread, Maple Syrup, French Toast and Cinnamon Roll and I'm interested in seeing how they are in a chaffle!
I love seeing the pictures of your walk to work, JB. We are camping at the beach this weekend and I am so ready to go. I took a half-day from work and we plan to be on the road by 12:30ish. Maybe this weekend I will take some pictures, I have been slacking with that lately.
My shoulder/arm has been hurting a lot. Tylenol doesn't even touch the pain but Tylenol PM is helping me sleep at night. Yesterday my fingers started to feel a little tingly. I did reach out to the surgeon because I have no idea if that is normal. I can completely understand how chronic pain can cause someone to go crazy and I have only felt this way for 6 months!
Accountability: okay - not great. I actually had a run-in with Cheeseits as well.
QOTD: I always like to watch It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
B: oatmeal with Fairlife milk
S: protein shake
L: cheese, pear and a hardboiled egg - things I can manage to eat in the truck on the way to the beach
D: steak and salad
Have a great weekend all!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Happy Friday everyone! Very short post from me this morning. Gotta get to work and then have the funeral/visitation for my sweet neighbor right after. I remember first meeting her when I moved in to my place 5 years ago. She was more like a grandmother to me than just a neighbor. Such a kind lady.
QOTD: hmmm...there is so many. I'm not sure. Lol. Speaking of Hocus Pocus though, I remember as a child going to the theater with my mom, brother, aunt and two cousins to see that movie when it first came out. Great memory! Lol
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda
L: roast beef and cheese roll up
D: the last of the salmon and veggies
Well this was my second attempt posting as right when I was about to hit submit my cat jumped into my lap and everything got erased.

I am really sorry for your loss. I know that must be very hard but I am grateful you had the opportunity to have her in your life and I am sure she felt the same about you. I hope that you can find some peace as they lay her to rest. And finally...cats...aaugh. They just give no F's, do they?!
Aww thank you so much. I think the hardest part is going to be leaving for work in the mornings and not seeing her outside anymore getting her newspaper and telling me to have a good day. Little things. But she was 85 and lived a good long life. Actually had an interesting conversation with one of her daughters and granddaughters at the funeral home. Apparently my grandmother and my neighbor had the same maiden last names and after talking and figuring out who married who, we found we are related down the line. My grandmother probably knew her, but I was only 5 when she passed. I just find it all very interesting. Lol
Oh yes, cats are definitely something else. And when my cat wants in my lap there is no stopping him. It's always at the worst times too. Lol

For you, I'd say a scary movie is "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"?
Oh, don't even.
How about Cinderella? Horses turning into mice? And they show that to kids?
