Good morning! I have only worked one day this week...how can that be my Wednesday face..yet it is!
QOTD - I wish I had some shred of artistic talent, I really do, so artist for me!
Accountability - ugh; I had some issues with my mom yesterday and I found that every time I got up from my desk I was grabbing another L&F, or some nuts, or or or....I don't keep crap in the house but obviously, you can over eat on anything and I was well on my way...and then I stopped, found a workout that I could leave for right that minute and left the house. I felt yuck because of the too much eating but i got in the workout, broke the behavior and started again right then (I have never heard HalaBs voice, but I totally heard her "start now, not tomorrow, start with that next meal/next opportunity" and I DID!). So accountability sucked, coping strategies sucked...until they didn't and then they helped!
Tonight after work I'm taking a photography class, I really need to learn all the things my camera is capable of so I can take better pictures. No physical workout but this should be a good brain workout --I have a second class next week too.
Menu
3 rivers egg bites
coffee with cafe latte PP X 3
3 oz ever roast with 1 oz cheese and 2 pickle slices
Not sure about dinner, could be a repeat of lunch
Have a fantastic middle of week everyone!

I think your coping strategy was awesome and I am going to put it in my arsenal! "I have never heard HalaBs voice, but I totally heard her "start now, not tomorrow, start with that next meal/next opportunity" and I DID!"
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

I always hear Grims voice, or what I think he would sound like. " Being hungry is not an emergency".

I have not been around long enough to see him post that but I like that quote!

I think HALA and Grim could make little audio clips of these key sayings and have a little side business!

I am so proud of you for halting that pattern, stopping and removing yourself from the temptation and giving yourself space and a change of environment and behavior. I guess it is true that we are a sum of the people around us both online and in our here and now life. Thank you for sharing that. I hope today is less triggering. Family can pull it out of the strongest of us

I am leaving today for the Texas Conference for Women. It's in Austin, and I am beyond excited! It's such a good opportunity to network, and Megan Rapinoe is one of the keynote speakers!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
