Oh, I hope they can get you all straightened out soon; not being able to control the pain leaches into everything else you do and sleep is the first thing to go (and one of the most needed for healing!)

Jen
I'm glad you have more information but I really empathize! It really is so hard to get comfortable and sleep with shoulder pain. I hope you can begin healing soon!

A chilly morning here in the cornfields of Illinois but Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do 2 more later today. It's boring walking in parking lots but there's too much fast traffic on the road for anything else to be safe. We do 21/2 miles in the morning and evening and 1/2 mile at lunch. She seems to look forward to it,even if it is boring! Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121.2 today. QOTD a musician. I play piano and sing but would love to be better at both and able to write songs. Here's the food plan for the day B 2 protein pancakes with sugar free syrup (strawberry chocolate chip flavor-quite yummy!)L 4 oz deli chicken and cheese D4 oz baked chicken S if needed 3/4 c popcorn shared with Lily. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone! Time for some coffee!
Maybe Miss Lily will get lucky and a rabbit or squirrel will cross your path. Does she try to run after them?

I met nick offerman a couple years ago or a book signing- it was fun!
QOTD: though I consider myself to be an artist /musician, I would choose athlete. working out for a living? yes please- and getting to eat all those carbs??? YESSSSSS
Morning folks!
Just a quick check-in to let you know that I was able to come home yesterday about lunchtime and was able to have some herbal tea (NO caffeine!!) and nap with the cats. It was hard, but I forced myself to rest instead of working around the house like a good patient.
I'm up and working from home for a couple of hours until I go for my nuclear stress test. I'm hoping that it will give more evidence of what is OR isn't happening with my heart and body and we can find new direction. The cardiologist thinks that my EKG is showing something electrical (beat and rate) rather than vascular (plaque blockage), which I think is good news... In any case, being more fit and eating better is a real advantage!
Menu:
B: Vanilla CarbMaster yogurt w/ blackberries & slivered almonds, Apple Cranberry herbal tea
I have to fast until the test is done, so no idea what I'll have during the middle of the day.
D: TJ's salmon patty, salad
E: stress test and hopefully a walk
Hugs everyone and thanks for all the well wishes!
