What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning, everybody!
In theory, today is Fri-Yay for me. I am taking the rest of the week off and we are going to Walla Walla with three other couples to go wine tasting. In practice, I think that I will spend most of the next three days working remotely from the house that we rented in Walla Walla. It will still be good to see everybody though.
I still have to pack tonight and try to get in a few miles towards the October challenge, so today will be a busy day.
QOTD: First of all, Chrissy's response to yesterday's QOTD cracked me up. Then, after really loosening up my shoulders I was able to do something that my coach described as "sort of a squat snatch" last night. I haven't been close to being able to do that.
Breakfast: Sausage
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Pork
Snack: Light and Fit
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Sorry but "squat snatch" sounds super dirty. Just me? Yes? Ok.
Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do 2 more later today. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 121 today. QOTD I was 100% on plan and not tempted to cheat, I got to watch my favorite TV show,"The Voice"and my arthritis med finally kicked in so my wrists and ankles aren't hurting any more.? Plus I got lots accomplished at work. Here's the food plan for the day B 2 protein pancakes with sugar free syrup L 3/4 c cheesy broccoli soup D 4 oz burger with cheese no bunS if needed 3 peanut butter crackers. Have a great day full of smart and healthy choices!
Morning folks!
Still in the hospital and on the heart monitor. Not sure how long. My echocardiogram came back clear and a nuclear stress test today or tomorrow. No specific orders not to walk so I've been doing laps in the halls, of course with my monitor on! I guess they'll see what happens when I move and not just stay in bed.
In sad but true, and sorta funny news, my nurse this morning while giving my flu shot asked me why my shoulder was bulging and hard. I gently explained that it's my deltoid muscle and I lift weights...argh! My heart rate while resting in bed is in the low 50s, normal for me. Had to pull my Fitbit history out to show my doctor that it's always that way and I don't feel dizzy. The reality is that most patients in the hospital on heart monitors don't have low resting heart rates. In sad news, no caffeine for me...boo hiss!
Ordered an egg white omelette with veg for breakfast. Had super bland cod and over cooked zucchini for dinner. No clue what will be on the menu today. Craving Carbmaster yogurt and Lactaid cottage cheese.
Hugs everyone!!
