trying to catch up on the daily accountability threads and just saw this. I hope you are doing better. Please keep us updated after you get taken care of. We are all rooting for you. I know being in the hospital can be very hard. Hang in there.
Hi everybody,
Just a quick drive by and checking in. I've had a relapse of pneumonia and now I also have Pleurisy to top it off. I ended up in the hospital over the weekend again for breathing treatments. My PCP also gave me stronger antibiotics and stronger steroids along with using the inhaler. He said that when I went to the hospital a few weeks ago they gave me the wrong antibiotic and it didn't get rid of all of the infection.
I did have enough energy over the weekend to some cooking but I really have no appetite to speak of. The antibiotics are really doing a number on my stomach and the steroids and inhaler are making me very jittery as well as dizzy. It's really weird that the steroids are also making very hungry but I don't want to eat. Go figure! I really don't care just as long as the meds get me better!
Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your evening!

Oh man! I hope they are able to get you fixed up for good this time. Something might help with the tummy, take your antibiotics with a bit of full fat Greek yogurt. Something about it, I find, minimizes the antibiotics distress and as a bonus can help keep the good bacteria around.
feel better!
