What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning JB and Menuers,
I had a wonderful weekend filled with a Hot tub party great bonfire and then Hot tub shopping since we liked it so much. I think were going to take the plunge and get a hot tub. Anybody have one and have any words of wisdom on this?
QOTD: My brother did a Cortex Banding about 20 years ago. He lost over 100 lbs at first but since gained it all back. (within 2 years) Then they told him to eat bagels so he got full fast and to take Flintstones vitamins. He never really did follow up and the band is still attached but ****tails and Ice cream has sabotaged him. It still works it's just the carbs he continues to eat that puts on the weight.
When I saw Mamma Junes success that when I said if that Dumb ass can be successful at this I absolutely can.
JB I found these Jimmy Dean Eggwiches that will fit into your Keto plan at Walmart. I have not tried them but it was only $5 and some change for 4 sandwiches.

Happy Monday! I had a great weekend. My daughter came and stayed the night and she brought her puppy Penelope. We had a great time.
My son is swearing in this morning for the Coast Guard. He didn't want me to go. He said that we don't need to make this harder than it needs to be. I probably would of just cried anyway. Ugh, my heart! He will graduate college June 13th and leave June 18th for the Coast Guard.
I have been doing great with food. I am losing and it feels good.
QOTD- I remember when Carnie Wilson had her surgery and then she was on Oprah and looked great. I secretly always wanted it.
Food for today-
Low carb wrap, 3 oz cranberry sage turkey breast, 1 slice light swiss, 2 T garlic taziki
sauteed cabbage and mushroom swiss Adelle chicken sausage
kale motz chicken burger with taziki
chomps if needed
Do people count total carbs or net carbs?? My low carb wraps have 14 carbs, but 9 fiber. It says 5 net carbs. I just counted all the carbs.
698 cal,29 carb, 74 protein
Headed out for my walk, I need some fresh air

I do total carbs, not net. Not sure why, maybe because my most carbs items tend to be l&f or half and half and they have no fiber.
is the cranberry sAge turkey breast on your menu home made or did you find it somewhere? It sounds delish!

I get it in the deli. It's a Jenni-O product and seasonal. I really like it.

I'm going to try to find it and give it a try

Good morning~ Those chips! Yum -I am such a sucker for all the new flavors. I'm sure these will make there way in as well. I had a really nice relaxing and productive weekend - I did everything I wanted to do and then some. I'm physically feeling better and plan to run again today - hopefully the orthotics do the trick. If not I will just do a different workout then promptly return these shoes. I'm more worried about injury than the inconvenience... Learning a ton of great things from the intuitive eating audible. I even ordered the actual book and workbook. It is speaking to me and I keep saying yes. I put some principles to work this weekend and I am floored at my response - not what I expected. I just assumed I would fail but I didn't. There is really something here for me but I still have a lot to learn. We'll see.
QOTD - I think it was Carnie Wilson or Rosanne Barr - not sure. I remember thinking how drastic it was yet secretly wishing I could do that.
